Maybe during the regular season, but defense still wins in the playoffs. Look at season MVP Lamar's playoff stats in big games. Also, look at what the Eagles defense did to Mahomes last super bowl.

I agree. The defense was injured and gassed by the end of the season mainly due to inept coaching on the offensive side (let's punt early in the playoff game on 4th and an inch with game still in doubt, but the Ravens gaining momentum).

I think it was mostly smoke. They didn't bring DK in and pay him $150 mil just to get rid of Pickens then put the team right back where they were before with no starting caliber 2nd WR.

The team must feel somewhat confident things will go well with Pickens since they had the chance on all three days to draft a good WR and didn't.

i dont think Pickens, DK, and a run first offense are going to go well together, if Pickens even shows up for camp

Ewers has to be kicking himself turning down millions in NIL for next year to possibly not get drafted.

Maybe he's already made enough money in college to retire, so he's good either way?
