What Could a Trade for Deshaun Watson Look Like for the Steelers?

Carolina has been desperate for a QB and I could see them making a splash move. Seattle has the resources following the Wilson trade.

I could see Seattle ultimately being the team that gets him. Panthers are a mess. Don't see him lifting his trade clause for them.

Oh he was worth it… id put him in the top five of younger qbs… first off he will be 27 this season… joe burrow, for example, will be 26…and he has four years (well 3 1/2) starting besides last season where he was inactive

The guy has a better td% and the same int % as burrow. He is a better rusher than burrows but every bit the passer… he has played behind a notoriously terrible pass blocking oline too…

This is a true franchise qb at a young age available…

Now what that says about everything else going on with him I’ll just let everyone draw their own conclusions….

Yeah, I looked at his stats and forgot the year he had in 2020. People like me underestimating him is probably due to the lack of success the Texans have had as a team.

I still would never trade 3 #1’s and 3 players or picks for anyone. A team is likely to take two steps forward and three steps backward doing that.

I feel the same way. And now with Haden looking to leave, we have so damn many spots to fill it's insane to even think about a big-name QB and the money involved. And, why would an elite QB even wanna come here just to run for their life?

I understand not wanting to waste TJ's and Heyward and Najee's careers as others have pointed out, but Tomlin and many others are to blame for where this team is currently at. Status quo and not forward thinking. Never a losing season though. Well, it's about to happen.
