You want Jones to fullfill his trade up first round status ut it's not like you shouldn't want Moore to improve. You want the best at the moment to play and you will always need two tackles.
I like Dan Moore. The kid has shown toughness and perseverance in not the best of circumstances. He has gotten better. I'm not so sure it's a slam dunk that Jones just waltzes in and starts. And I don't think it will be a statement that they reached for Jones or that he's no good. I just think Moore is a tough kid who is gonna scrap in there and make the decision a lot tougher than we think.
Let’s talk about Heyward’s production without Watt as well.
I don't know what Kenny is but I like what I've seen so far. And I like his trajectory. I want a Winner preferably a SB winner. I don't give a **** about mvp unless it is accompanied a Lombardi.Kenny Pickett...

I see KP as Peyton Manning lite...Great Leader, Always says the right thing, Big *** film junkie, very cerebral QB. Add to that Accurate as fukk, throws great on the run & pretty damn good wheels & he's gonna be the perfect QB for this team...Being a winning QB on a winning team is gonna change KP's trajectory....He's gonna go way past his "supposed" ceiling...
Cannot wait for Sileos week 5 retraction...
Heyward had 0 Pro Bowls before TJ Watt. Six straight Pro Bowls, 3 All-Pro First Team selections, 1 All-Pro Second Team selection. Watt makes the entire defense better and there is a reason they are something like 1-10 without him in the lineup.Heyward is a team leader and has been putting up numbers since before Watt but sure TJ helps. He's also only looking at Heyward as a pass rusher when he is not a pass rush specialist like TJ and Highsmith. The dude's numbers are off though. Highsmith did not have 6 sacks last year without TJ. He had 3.5 in 7 games and extrapolated out for an entire season would give him in the 8 or 9 range - not very good and not worth anywhere even close to $15 million let alone the $20 million many think he should get.
Going off of the top ten fan opinions, as far as I can tell…
Option 1 Dan Moore- He is about to start his third year, and many oline guys have a big jump around that time. How long can he stave off the massively talented Broderick Jones? And if he does get replaced before or during the season, can he wrest the RT position away from Chuks >>> playing well would be a start. He did not last year.
Option 2 Chuks Okafor- if we had drafted a RT instead of a LT , he would be the guy on the chopping block… can he show he is worth that big price tag before next season when he is really cuttable? >>> Well if Moore play close to him, AND Jones prove to be a player, this yes he can be cut. Chuks is over paid on the cap restive to his perfromace.
Option 3 Kendrick Green- guy is probably getting cut… but as the top C backup he will have every chance to show he does belong in the nfl despite what many of us say. >>> I have given up on Green. The guy isn't and NFL player.
Option 4 Dionte Johnson- We love to hate on Wrs not named Hines Ward. His concentration lapses do take away from his talent, but he is a common irate fan target >>> He does not play close to what he are paying him. His YPC sucks and he did not score anything last year, Don't get me wrong he is a solid #2 WR, but way over paid on the cap, which prevents us for picking on other players in free agency. He better keep his moth shut as his targets diminish.
Option 5 Najeh Harris- He had some pretty inspired games down the stretch, but his critics are as common as his fans. >> > Harris YPR and YPC ( that is yards per rush and catch ) is the lowest in the NFL of all projected stating backs in 2023! 32 out of 32. He better play better this year, otherwise Warren will start!
Option 6 Kenny Pickett- there is a significant portion of fans who still quietly opine that he isn’t the answer ( and they can tell after one rookie season..lol) >>> a regular game manger type of a starter is what I think we have. Not a franchise QB. Not even a pro bowl player or very good starter. I question his arm velocity and his ability to stay healthy.
Option 7 Alex Highsmith- people chirp about him being solely a byproduct of Watt… that will undoubtedly get louder if he signs a huge extension. >>. He deserves it.
Option 8 Presley Harvin 3 - the erratic Punter faces a real competition in camp this year… a lot of fans expect him to lose it… >>> Cut the man. He will be fortunate to make the team because Mann is better.
Option 9 Chris Boswell- he had a bad season but is getting big dollars now… can he show he is worth it again? >>> I hope so, It think he is a top 8 kicker in the NFL. Perhaps a long snapping change will do him good.
Option 10 Calvin Austin 3- his injury last year has raised a lot of concerns that he is just an offensive version of Senquez Golson.. is he the electric playmaker he looks to be in practice or just a injury prone nothingburger? >>> Austin can ball and will help the offense. Based on mini camp, he is heathy!

I guess his head is too big as well.Peton Manning ? Pickett lacks arm & accuracy. By A Qb standars he is not very bright. He scored a 17 on the wonderlic, next to Peyton Mannings 28!
He had trouble with concussions and young man he was knocked out of two games, and he didn't even play a fulll schedule.
Your not doing him any favors by comparing him to Peyton Manning who proved to be an excellent leader, a true film junkie, and a smart and cerebral QB who know where and when to though the ball and unlike Pickett is has much better arm velocity and accuracy. Manning proved he can play full season too. Really? It will take more than saying the right things for one off-season to even attempt a comparison between the two players.

I am hoping that Harvin shows up this year.

Coach...If you re-read what I said, the comparison I made was the cerebral QB, film junkie & Leader...Kenny is ALL THAT RIGHT NOW...Peton Manning ? Pickett lacks arm & accuracy. By A Qb standars he is not very bright. He scored a 17 on the wonderlic, next to Peyton Mannings 28!

I did say hope.I think his new number will be 86'd
I was unaware of the connection when I made the comparison...All I know is when I watch KP, I see Peyton Manning in his approach to the game...3. Pickett is a film Junkie at Peyton Mannings level. It is a fair comparison, really, because he learned it from Manning himself… he used to go to Manning’s qb Camp and learned his work ethic and film study from Peyton himself… if Peyton was his mentor, then comparing him to Manning is fair.

Lol at least its less in percentage than the criticized coaches… which hovers around 100%Holy cow! We have that many criticized players? lol
If Pickett is half the film junkie peyton is then at least he gave it his all. As far as arm strength some of the best QBs ever did not have rocket arms. You have guys like Manning, Brady, Montana who did not have "strong" arms. Peytons arm when he last won the SB was probably one of the weakest arms I have seen in the NFL, but somehow he made it work. Accuracy, anticipation, and knowledge will trump arm strength any day. We are giving Pickett some good players around him, just need the coaches to take advantage of it.
