I didn't get to see all of the Ohio State game. From what I saw, Ryan Day overthought it. Just 9 targets of Harrison? Ridiculous. Especially when the other WRs were coming up small.
That TD to Roman Wilson very clearly should have been an INT. The Ohio State DB immediately dislodged the ball, Wilson never had complete control, and it was ripped away by the OSU DB who did then have complete control.
It probably did not decide the game though because Ryan Day found another way to somehow be surprised by Michigan doing what Michigan does.
I listened to most of the Auburn game while traveling. I was able to see the ending. I have no idea why teams insist on only rushing 2 or 3 on Hail Mary situations. The only way a Hail Mary works is if the QB gets enough time and has enough space to launch a long pass and for WRs to get lost. I can see going with just 2 DL so you can have faster players on the field, but blitz a couple of them. Make the QB have to run.
