The unhinging of the left is a bit frightening.
I have a good friend who I've known for years and suddenly one day he disappeared. I mean just fell off the grid. Won't return my calls, my messages, my facebook posts to him, nothing.
Now, the thing is, he's perfectly happy to tell everyone else he hangs with that he's really really pissed at me and that I'm a horrible person because apparently one night in the taproom I said something which offended his liberal sensitivities. He won't tell ME whatever it was I said that offends him, but he's told pretty much everyone else.
And the kicker. He has specifically forbade them from telling ME what he's upset about. So not only is he completely angry with me about something I don't even know about or remember. Not only is he unwilling to confront me and say "Gregg, you really offended me when you said this, and I'm angry with you." No - He's gone so far as to block ANYONE ELSE from telling me what his problem is, thus ensuring that no resolution can occur. I can't FIX the ******* problem, because he's hell bent on making sure I don't know what the problem is.
This is the new liberal in a nutshell. Oh, they're ******* angry! They're pissed, But they full on, crazy-************* REFUSE to actually directly confront the issue and have a reasonable dialogue about it. They just scream and rail and feel oppressed.
This is why Rapinoe (or whatever her name is) and all those Golden State Warriors and the lefties on the Patriots etc. refuse to go to the White House. They REFUSE to directly discuss and confront a disagreement. It literally "triggers" them and causes too much stress.
If Rapinoe wanted to use her fame and her opportunity to try to foment SOME kind of change, why on ******* EARTH would she refuse to take advantage of her ONE opportunity to actually speak FACE to FACE with Trump and say, "I have some strong feelings about this policy or that policy and I wanted to talk to you directly about it so you may understand where I'm coming from and I might understand where you're coming from."
A direct person to person dialogue is the absolute BEST way to try to discuss your differences and see if you can move toward resolution. But the progressives and the liberals don't WANT to move toward resolution. They don't WANT to discuss their differences. They want to scream and be angry about **** you don't even understand bothers them.
