I wasn't arguing the Rooneys being cheap, I'm nobody, but when Big Ben called them out for being cheap his podcast on numerous occasions. There is no argument.

Bell didn't ever look the same after he left Pittsburgh, he averaged 129 scrimmage yards per game as a Steeler for his entire time here. That has never been done, will never be matched in the NFL let alone another Steeler player.
Antonio Brown had the most yards and receptions in History in the same six year span as Bell.
Just makes me sick to think about what they had compared to now. And they squandered it.
Pickens situation just reopens old wounds, its like de ja vu. trading Pickens killed the offense.
Steelers are never winning with this Joke of a Coach and front office. Paying do nothing DK 34 million and a bunch of washed up guys on defense, led by a bunch of clowns that have failed upwards the last half decade. Get some real coordinators.

Big Ben saying they are cheap is a little disingenuous being he made over $266 million in his career.

Again, I agree they squandered talent. No doubt. But while those guys were great talents, the players themselves also contributed to the squandering. Just like Pickens was doing. Again, it's a shame. There is some sadness over it.

The thing is they aren't running the Arthur Smith System. It is some kind of hybrid to accommodate older QBs who like to do stuff their way. I don't think we really know what the system is. And maybe his system sucks, but I don't think we really have gotten a true look at it.

I think we’ll get a good idea what that looks like with Rudy starting.

Yeah Rodgers and Tomlin like shotgun spread stuff.. Smith wants the QB under center with two or 3 TEs and sometimes a fullback or Hback... its a mashup of both

It's why you either need to hire an offensive-minded HC or hire an OC and let him run the offense. The Steelers had a chance to do a hard reset with a lot of the staff last year and didn't.

..as I always say a lack of X and Os ….which really show its face when the team has their back against the wall and game adjustments are needed.
