Post your prediction for the regular season record, post season results (if any), Who does what, etc.

Post 'em up!

8-8-1. Tomlin continues "The Streak."

I like all the hope you guys have, but find it unrealistic. KP will get his shot this year, my guess is about game 8 when they are almost out of contention.
Tomlin does not have his HOF ”safety blanket”, so right off the bat he doesn’t have the 5-6 wins Ben gets him on his own. They will also make knee jerk reactions, with both Mitch and KP trying to save his non-losing season.

I am going to say 7-10, though I honestly believe it will be 6-11.

Mitch 2-7
Pickett 3-3
Rudolph 1-1

This thread topic and the game prediction threads are the only ones that we have no problem with people be dishonest. LOL
So here I go...11-6!

Bengals - See this as an almost definite loss
Pats - Their TEs could give us trouble, but I think we can pressure Jones. This one is a toss up
Browns - Should win, but we need to find a way to deal with Garret.
Jets - Should win this
Bills - Dont see us winning this one. Think last year was a fluke
Bucs - Could go either way need to pressure Brady. Not sure if our secondary can hang w/ their WRs.
Dolphins - Should win
Eagles - Should win
Saints - Winston was playing well when healthy, probably a tough game. Kamara, Thomas, and Landry may give us some issues. Going to call it a toss up
Bengals - Dont see us winning they are just better than us right now
Colts - Should win, not even sure who their QBs were w/o looking them up (Matt Ryan is listed as the starter currently)
Falcons - Mariota is currently listed as the starter so we will get him or a rookie (Ridder) Should be a win
Ravens - Always toss up games
Panthers - Should win
Raiders - A tough night game at home. Going to call it a toss up
Ravens - 50/50 game again
Browns - Should win and hope we make Watson's game a living hell

Optimistically 8 should wins, 6 toss ups, and 3 definite losses.
Ill go with 11-6 or 10-7, but could definitely be worse depending on the line....

17-0. You can lose any game and you can win any game. It comes down to just a few plays either way. Of course this means nothing without running the table in the playoffs.

No team in the league is all that and a bag of chips.

And then I saw the OL...

It's a nice dream anyway.

5-11-1 We always seem to tie the Falcons

As talented as the Steelers are, the Offensive line will continue to fail the running game and give any Steeler's QB enough time to throw anything but short passes or 50/50 balls. The kickoff team is abysmal and will give opponents good field position to start drives.

8-9. We have lot of talent, but poor coaching will sink us.

6-10 or 7-9 without Ben. Tomlin gets exposed for a mediocrity this season.

7-10 at best. Poor offensive line, run defense continues to be a problem. Team will score points, but will have to win via shootouts in the majority of their 7 wins.

Thanks for a good breakdown. But the Dolphins and Eagles on the road, back-to-back, with Miami being a Sunday night game, don't sound like they should be in the "should win" category to me. Those are going to be tough games against improved teams. A split there would be a positive outcome for Pittsburgh.

10-6-1

I was hoping that our run game would be much improved and our offense would be more balanced. Haven’t seen evidence of that in the pre-season. I think our defense will be improved but sill has a weak link in the interior.

With even a half decent offensive line, I could see a 10 or 11 win season. With this offensive line, I'm saying 6, maybe 7 wins if everything breaks right.

It pisses me off to say that. This team has a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, and the QB's are good enough to get it done. But that offensive line is going to be what undoes the Steelers season. Short of trading for OL or finding a gem or two on the scrap heap after cuts, I think this could be a long season.

7-10.
