What will be our record this year?

Using that logic, Mason Rudolph must be really solid, because he's only been with one team.

Since compiling a passer rating of 103.3 in 2014, Ben's two best ratings in any season were 96.5 (2018), and 95.4 (2016). Trubisky's two best seasons were 95.4 (2018) and 93.5 (2020), quite comparable. Ben's rating last year was 86.8, with zero mobility. Trubisky's career number is higher than that at 87.0, which includes a tough rookie season, plus he can make plays with his feet.

As usual, people overvalue what Ben brought to the table last year. Like it or not, Trubisky is an upgrade over the 2021 version of Roethlisberger.
Why do people always need to drag someone else into a discussion when it had nothing to do with others?

my statement had NOTHING to do with Ben or Rudy.

Ben’s last Pro Bowl: 2017
Trubisky’s last Pro Bowl: 2018

Ben wasn’t very good last year, don’t kid yourself.

Kurt Warner, Jim Plunkett, Doug Williams all won Super Bowls after leaving other teams.
If you want to refute my statement, fine, just stay on subject. Quit bringing others into it.

You have been getting high on Coolie's supply.

Well.................... he does have an odor that makes yaz whooooooooZy.!!!

Really? You didn't say this?

"They missed the opportunity to lose a playoff game because Ben wasn’t there to pull games out of his ***."

lol

I damn near spit tea on my 'puter reading this!!! Hilarious...maybe we interpreted your post incorrectly, but you said "Ben"...

Far too many holes and unknowns to predict much success for this football team. Brutal schedule to start off season will be tough test for Mitch and especially this OL. I’m thinking 7-10 but would love to be wrong. Just think this OL will cause way too many issues plus the ILBer with Bushy and Spillane concerns me.

I don't know about our and we, but I'm going to assume the oline gets better and the Steelers record is 10-7

I think the season will start off a bit rocky but the Steelers will pull it together by mid-October...
So, I'm gonna go with 9-8

11-6

Defense holds up better than most think

Offense starts rock bottom but pulls a U-turn

Tomlin keeps his non-losing in tact and gets offered a 15 year extension. He modestly talks it down to a 9 year extension with his option to allow them to sign him for 3 more years after the completion of the 5th year but before the completion of the 7th year. ENTIRE contract is gauranteed.

The City of PITTSBURGH runs O'Canada out of town on a rail & Meyers in a wheelbarro..

TJ WATT devotes this season to a farwell tour for his brother Derick. (Derrick is done after this season)

ANY Questions................ ???

Just one question, and one comment hehehe

Does Bubbles blow a giant bubble gum bubble and float off as being carried away by a hot air balloon anywhere in this scenario?

And I don’t think the Steelers should offend shades with only a 15 year deal…it should also include 15% ownership of the franchise so he is here forever and ever…salute the standard!!!

8-8-1.
Never a losing season. Greatest coach ever.

Pickett starts at least one game by Week 10.
Either no playoffs or MT's usual one-and-done.
Third in the division behind the Bungles and Ratbirds.
After the season Matt Canada is not asked to return.

Speaking of being there forever and ever, a statue of Tomlin outside Heinz...er Acrisure Stadium would be nice too.
With the inscription...
No losing seasons, The Standard is the Standard.

I stand by my statement that Tomlin could not win another title with the AFC Probowl team..Just try to enjoy the games...

Heretofore known as the Mike Tomlin Memorial Participation Trophy.

Sorry. Just can’t see a lot of W’s being our offensive line is yet again going to be the worst in the league and that we are still soft up the middle in run defense. Please prove me wrong, Steelers.

Matt Canada will get another year on the heels of scapegoating the OL

Then we will wait til the 3rd round to finally grab a tweener for the OL (you know a guy that plays all spots almost average) after only bringing in 1 low-mid free agent and expect improvements…it is the way…cheers to the new standard!!!
