Like if KFP or Justin Fields were qbs of this team and you were seeing progression and you had some up and coming dudes. But I really fail to see how winning an AFC wildcard game moves tge needle in the least. The team needs to be taken down to the boards. Mike Tomlin doesn't do that. Time to move on. I can suffer more for 3-5 years. All Steelers fans should be able to.
What would playoffs or even a playoff win really do

This organization is exactly who I thought they were and if you’re being honest with yourselves, you know it to.
It’s broken and dysfunctional and it starts at the very top with owner.
He’s afraid to move on from Tomlin, not wanting to explore other avenues. Instead he’d rather stay in his comfort zone and except mediocre results season after season. It’s safe and his team is above the mean.
Tomlin is not a bad coach he’s just outlived his shelf life here. He’s stale, his methods and message is stale, his schematics and schemes are stale. He has changed the culture and not in a good way.
Tomlin is not the answer! The owner needs to realize this and get over his fears and move on from him. This team needs new and younger blood with a new head coach and staff and move on from some of these aging veterans.

It will prove to me that Tomlin and his staff could scheme up a win, that Tomlin can overcome his playoff failures. I would also like to see the young core on this team learn how to win and start to establish a winning culture.

For me the needle doesn’t even quiver with 2 Playoff wins.
Regardless of wins, tomlin needs to go.
tomlin has been way past his “use by date” years ago.
the “Steelers Way” has been replaced by signing ancient veterans for their last pay contract in lieu of drafting and coaching up young up coming players.
Tomlin and the entire coaching staff needs to exit.
Competent sub-coaching and assistants (more specialist than current) brought in and organized.

As soon as the Ravens won Saturday, my son said you know they’re going to find a way to loose at Cleveland and I couldn’t disagree. Like many here have repeated, same story new season.

Art Rooney II, the agenda driven Tomlin lovers on social media and in legacy media would use a single wild card round win to justify Tomlin as the coach here for another 10 years.
That would prove my point as to how pathetic Tomlin defense is-if winning a single wild card game is the new “standard” Mike Tomlin had masterfully duped us all. We’d have the pitch forks out for Cowher or Noll for Tomlins record LONG ago
That being said there’s no way we win over the rats and then win a playoff game
This might be one of the biggest concerns right now. No one even has playoff winning experience outside of Cam and a few old hired guns. No “Steelers” way that’s been handed down like before. So I’m always for winning but will it matter with the current figure heads in the long run? Tune in next week buckaroo’s to see the exciting conclusion of “The T Team”!!!!

I can't handle another performance like the one we saw, yet again, on Sunday, in Cleveland. I have had my fill of it. It makes me ill thinking of that ****** brand of fearful football. It is our identity now and it is thoroughly disgusting.
When I look at the games this week and I see SF vs SEA for the division Championship, and BALT vs PITT for a division Championship. I would rather watch the former, rather than the latter. ******, frustrating, fearful, mistake filled football, that ignores the middle of the field and repeatedly fails to wrap up on a tackle has zero appeal to me. I do not care who is playing it.
The Steelers don't seem to care about their fans, and I could give a fat rats *** about the leadership of this team that keeps churning out this putrid product.

Because Shades has proven, and pretty much admitted, that he can't develop players. If you look at all their personnel moves under the light of "short-term-get-to-9-wins" then everything they do makes sense.

Not down to the boards, they have some good young pieces on both lines, D has LBs and DBs. Get the right coach and QB and it doesn't have to take 3-5 years.
Down to the boards is your good young pieces. Yes could be quicker. Was in NE and Seattle but I'm prepared for longer and just welcome change.

I’d use a small town USA clock reference such a Sturgis, or something of that nature.
