WikiLeaks: Assange's internet link 'severed' by state actor

PARIS (AP) — WikiLeaks says that founder Julian Assange's internet access has been cut by an unidentified state actor. Few other details were immediately available.

Calls, texts and emails left with WikiLeaks weren't immediately returned Monday. A woman who picked up the phone at the embassy said: "I cannot disclose any information." An email to Ecuador's ambassador wasn't immediately answered. London's Metropolitan Police declined comment.

I used to frown upon wiki leaks. Then I woke up one day and realized the media no longer does the job. Instead the media covers up for the left and offers slated and biased news at best pushing their agenda. So an source like Wiki leaks is needed these days

Ecuador 'Cuts Julian Assange's Internet Access' After Hillary Clinton Leaks

"We can confirm Ecuador cut off Assange's internet access Saturday, 5pm GMT, shortly after publication of Clinton's Goldman Sachs speechs," the statement from WikiLeaks said.

"We have activated the appropriate contingency plans," WikiLeaks added. People close to WikiLeaks say that Mr Assange himself is the principal operator of the website's Twitter feed.

Three paid speeches to Goldman Sachs by Mrs Clinton were released by WikiLeaks on Saturday. Mrs Clinton's campaign did not contest the authenticity of the remarks, part of a huge trove of documents hacked from the emails of campaign chairman John Podesta by WikiLeaks.

I've paid attention to politics since early childhood thanks to my father. That's all we watched on tv 7 days a week..other than movies and steeler football.He always pointed out the one sided garbage from the media.The same bs scare tactics every election cycle. I've just never seen anything like this ever. It's just nasty. It's beyond words. All for power and control of a socialist commie pinko agenda . So many in government need cleared out it just looks like a task that's impossible.

The sad thing is the super rich and powerful will hide behind their hired guns and walled mansions while the rest of us have our guns taken away.

Socialism is a dead end path to me that we are inevitably heading towards. My generation and my children's generation will not be as free or self-fulfilling as the generations in the past under the burden of government (local, state, federal and global). Working for the state is likely the only path forward. Find a paycheck that links back to taxpayer dollars and hope it doesn't bankrupt itself before you die.

That is a sad way to live.
