He simply was creating a learning experience for Tomlin to coach to his well disciplined team. A team as disciplined as this one sometimes you have to create an issue for a lesson to be taught. I am sureTomlin told Allen to do what he did. Tomlin is known for his teaching skills.

For DJ to say he didn't see the defender when he actually walked right up to him staring directly at him. Then bump into the player is actually disappointing. He simply could have owned up to his selfish bone headed action. Instead he simply lies. I guess why not. He probably figures AB got away with everything. And he isn't near AB yet in selfishness. This is clearly pn Tomlin's lack of any accountability on his star players.

100%. This is the new Steelers culture brought to you by Mike Tomlin. They used to be disciplined, mean, tough, gritty, unselfish, and loyal. Not anymore.
 
Allen did it and then acted shocked he got the penalty and was complaining about it. The dude was in the Panther's faces (a taunting penalty by itself) but then he went over to their huddle on their sideline and got in their coach's face. He's lucky he didn't get his candy *** kicked. That would have been funny as shiznit! Tomlin definitely needs to discipline him. If it's not cutting him now (as he is iffy to keep making the team) then sit him without pay for a game or two. He has to do something significant to show that is not acceptable. Just a completely boneheaded move for an entitled little brat whose days are numbered in the NFL. He definitely should know better.

And Allen himself admitted the error. He said it was too much passion. Ok.

Poni is a clickbait hack. He also said Johnson got into it with Tribusky at the half and wanted Rudolph in. I don’t trust anything from his mouth piece. He’s a Mark Madden wannabe. Like we need another one of him.
