He’s full of crap Sask. Johnson gave interviews to the journalist pool after the game praising Tribusky. If he had direct quotes, he was in the locker room at half time, which we know is BS. As for Allen’s comments, why hasn’t any other writer in the pool mentioned it? Karboly? No one at DKSports has. I saw Dale Lolley amongst the videos during interviews, but he works for the team now, so I don’t know if he would print anything like it. Pruista would, as Labriola 30 years ago (not now obviously). Bouchette is one of Tomlin’s biggest detractors, he hasn’t mentioned it. Poni, is a radio jock trying to be the next Cowherd.
Making up direct quotes is a pretty dangerous game. Not saying you are wrong. But that is a dangerous game.
I looked it up Marcus Allen's comment of "Too much passion" and that Tomlin told him to "Keep on Truckin" were direct quotes in quotation marks.
DJs comments about wanting Rudolph to start I heard from his own mouth. As was his explanation of his OC penalty yesterday. Which leaves the dust up with him and Trubisky which pretty much makes perfect sense and I have no problem believing. That **** happens ALL the time.

I just listened to the segment and Ray Fittipaldo said he asked Allen after the game Tomlin told him after the play "keep on truckin'." Fittipaldo also Tweeted it after the game.

Ray does the same thing on occasions. Again, why hasn’t any other writer in the pool mentioned this? Poni and Ray bait click to get traffic. Ray definitely doesn’t get any with the Post Gazette. Print media is dying a slow death with Digital publishing. I wouldn't be surprised that Allen‘s comments were his code that the coach(es) chewed his *** out. Coaches always keep that stuff internal.

What he did was bad enough but his reaction after they threw the flag REALLY pissed me off....He acted like he shouldn't have been flagged for that stupid ****. Just laughed when I seen Mikey T basically blowing it off afterwards. Keep in mind, this is the guy that acted like he wanted to trip a player on the field during a live play once....

Allen is a FA after the season. Nothing will happen to him, largely because they won the game. They'll just let him walk when the season is over.

That is irrelevant. If all Tomlin stated was keep truck'n it simply is a sad piece of leadership by Tomlin. Other players see this. Tomlin isn't a player coach. He is the player's B I T C H!!!!!
There is pretty clearly a pattern here. Sometimes examples have to be made. If he gets dumped this week it has no effect on this team in terms of talent and other players see it. It was beyond reasonable of a mistake.

Been saying near that for years.
The players all claim he is a player’s coach mostly because he doesn’t seem to hold some players accountable to their actions. That allows some to do less than more, “Player’s Coach”.
