It has begun, curling is on. Canada wins over USA, both 1-1

Nobody watching the Olympics I guess? I've watched most of it. Curling rules of course but I am also digging the long ski races...I think they are like 8K or something. Look grueling as ****. Frickin guy from Norway yesterday crashed at the starting line, got his skis and poles screwed up and had to stop briefly and change them out. He was way, way back from the pack right off the bat. Yeah....the guy eventually caught back up with the pack, proceeded to pass every single person one by one and ended up winning the thing by a huge margin. Pretty damn cool.
 
I am watching some. I watched some luge, snowboarding, ice skating. Ill check out the downhill skiing. I have done cross country skiing and it is brutual. I do not enjoy watching it though
 
Yeah I'm catching a few minutes when possible. Work has taken so much time the last couple of weeks.

I've been watching as much as I can. It's pretty unreal that a lot of these athletes spent virtually their entire lives for this moment and for many of them, it is to compete in one race. I watched one speed skater lose a heat by .002 seconds. That's insane.
 
Coverage seems hard to follow this year. Also there is less of it. Hopefully it gets better this week.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be a 17 Year Old and return to High School with a gold medal.

Watching how the winds impacted the snow boarding. I know it's a outdoor sport but damn !

Uhhh is there a snowboarder or skateboarder alive who ISN'T a stoner? I thought that was pretty much mandatory for both activities.
 
The women's hockey has been fun.
The US women's is loaded with talent.

Japan and Switzerland was a good game. Japan with amazing puck movement, just could not finish.

Felt kinda bad for Korea lol. Sweden massacred them
 
I was shocked the US won a silver in the luge. I can't remember us ever winning **** in that sport. That's one of 4 sports I'd love to do as a hobby. Bobsled ,ski jump and speed skating are the others. What a rush jumping down the side of hill must be...looks damn fun!

Yea, the host nation automatically gets a team in any team sport. They are the warm up squad...

Looking foreward to the Mens Hockey. Been watching Curling as well. Our mixed doubles team sucks....

Watching USA vs Canada women's hockey. Canada up 2-0 heading into the 3rd. We missed on a penalty shot and got hosed on a goal that they where offaudes. I'm not sure why they didnt review it. This is a quality game,but I expected it to be. I hope we can tie it up in the 3rd.

Canadian women are undefeated in gold medal games.
