Bear in mind, many "reports" are just speculative thought bubbles by the author published for the sole purpose of getting clicks to support whatever revenue generating model they use.I saw that but also have read reports saying both the Steelers would and would not sign Wilson. There really isn't much middle ground. Negotiations may have simply been getting an asking price from Wilson. Whether you want him back or not, options are slim and keeping doors open is probably smart.
I think an article that has quotes from a named Steelers source such as Wilson, trump's anything without any concrete basis other than the writer's thoughts or unnamed sources.
