Yet the praise Harry Styles. I don’t have a strong opinion of Troy one way or the other. I hated him as a player, but as a commentator he’s one of the least objectionable. But if he apologizes, and I expect he’ll be forced to do so, I will lose respect for him.

I may be in the minority here (no pun intended) ... But, unless the accusers are proven wrong, why would we expect them to apologize?
How would that work? Like:
"I'm really sorry I accused you of doing something totally illegal/immoral, and I just felt I owed you an apology since it's all true"
