World War 3

I think it would be different if it were a shooting war. Therefore we probably won't see one. They'll just keep using the present tactic of utilizing the useful idiots to corrode the country out from within. They're pretty much done. Give it another 10-15 years if that.
True, but it will still end in a shooting situation.

China or russia.

I’m not much for bible prophecies either. Just remember with the bible, the book was written hundreds of years ago where penmanship was sensationalized. The way to describe things was to capture man’s imagination and fear.

As a species we make repeated mistakes due to lack of understanding and tribe mentality which leads to divided groups. Being the US is a big melting pot of division now, it’s easy to coincide the bible to what we are seeing today. It’s because your faith subconsciously connects today’s problems to the bible which makes it seem like a prophecy when in reality we alongside power hungry politicians are instigating the moment.
IDK, the Apostle Paul seemed pretty on track in 2 Timothy 3 -- we seem to be there:

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Just as the adage goes. Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Prophecies look spot on cause if you believe, you can apply it to society today.

Go back in history, every powerful empire has had a breakdown of some sort. The US is a melting pot of cultures and with the amount of disinformation today, it’s easy for people to pick a side and get that much closer to a civil war

Have I read the reports correct that is Russia invades Ukraine, all the west is going to do is apply sanctions, albeit severe sanctions?

Is that what ***** Biden said? Is that really the response from the EU?

Wow.....

Ukraine is not a treaty ally or NATO member we should not do anything. No more US Blood and treasure for European socialists that think they are better than us. **** them.

Putin is counting on this.

The whole thing is unnerving. If you step back and actually look at what we are talking about, it's uncomfortable. Do we really believe some of the things we are saying? Is there any merit to what is being said/shared? If so, to what degree will it come to pass so apocalyptically? Do we want this, or are we hoping that the things that make us act or think like we do? Can we honestly hope to be wrong, and fear that we are right?

I hate wearing the tin foil hat. I know some history and other tomes, and have reached conclusions that I don't like. I deeply hope I am wrong about a lot of my begrudging conclusions.

Thought this was the best place to drop this great song (The Gun) written by our guns and sung by Whey Jennings.

Paul was imprisoned in Rome while awaiting trial, and 2 Timothy was actually the last letter written by Paul before his death. Here, Paul is warning his protégé Timothy about false teaching that had infiltrated the church. (But like much of Scripture, some verses can be extrapolated and applied in a general and present sense. These verses certainly qualify for such an application.) Verse 5 directly addresses those "wolves in sheep's clothing" within the church; and how dangerous it is for a false teacher to appear as a true Christian. (Modern-day "prosperity gospel" preachers of "easy-believism", I'm looking at you). The warning to avoid such people still applies to today's believers. Verse 1 uses the term "perilous" times; other translations use ""the last days". Either way, this period is bracketed by the "2 Advents" of Jesus... his first arrival and his second coming. We can take from verses like these that... because of sin, we live in a fallen world that is falling further away from God as generations pass by. Tyrannical despots, power-hungry totalitarians, etc are nothing new in biblical historical context.

If the nations of Western Europe will not stand up to the Russians in their quest for empire why should we? The EU and our Nato Allies have used us to defend them at our ruinous expense for over 60 years. I for one am not willing to send my son to fight for some effete EU weaklings that like the courage and conviction to do it themselves. I am not going to advocate throwing away another 400,000 AMERICAN lives in yet another European war.

As soft a spot I have in my heart for those dirty Ukrainians, Ogre is 100% right.

It'd be another thing (IMO) if it was the start of 1939 all over again.

I'm not really advocating for our intervention, or not. It just is sucky to have these conclusions.
