Look, I whined about the Harris pick more than anyone.. I despise first round picks used on any RB, but I fail to see Warren as a better or worse option than Harris… O think the blocking scheme is atrocious and basically nobody has any success behind it… Harris had a 4.5 yards per touch today, Warren 4.2. I dont really see the difference.. now if you are arguing that Harris isn’t going to be worth the 9 mil 5th year, I mean i will buy that, nobody is behind this atrocity of a scheme…

Sad thing is, we can't determine either, till one is fixed. I think scheme is the main cause, that includes the play calling.

If you can be unbiased and honest with yourself, you would admit that Warren is more explosive and he runs harder than Najee. He also wasn't worth taking in the first 2 rounds, maybe even 3. I heard comparisons of Leveon Bell, not Jerome Bettis. He's not close to either and especially not Bell. He's more similar to Eddie Lacey. Bottom line, if you have a good offensive line, there are UDFA RBs that can look like all pros running between the tackles.

The Steelers need to get away from their 'draft privilege' and 'free agent privilege' players.

Look I love Najee. He seems like a great person, and is a great story.
But the ONLY reason that Najee is starting is because he was a 1st round pick. (he is not producing)
He is the Jarvis Jones of Steeler running backs.
If Jaylen Warren would have been our 1st round pick and Najee would have been a undrafted signing we wouldn't be having this conversation. Najee most likely wouldn't see the field until the 2nd quarter.

The only reason that Patrick Peterson is starting is because they committed free agent $$ to him. (he is not producing)

I just don't understand why this coaching staff thinks this team is good enough to start players that are not producing or not performing - when there are others that can ?

Najee is disrespected due to his lack of production 95% of the time. We've all seen what he can do he's had a few great games in his career. its just very frustrating he only performs well when the media is reporting about the Steelers giving Warren the job or making phone calls for Jonathan Taylor etc.
Otherwise he has looked about as bad as it gets for a starting NFL RB.

Nah, he's disrespected because drafting RBs in the first is a waste, especially when they average under 4.0 YPC. How would you feel about him if he didn't play at Alabama?

Definately not dissing Najee on his character. What I’m saying isn’t even Najee’s fault. He got picked in the 1st which was a HUGE mistake by our FO / Coach.
