This guy is horrible. I know the Cowboys have a really good defense but Wilson has zero business playing QB at the NFL level. The Jets even tried to make it simple for him with short slants and hook patterns but just horrible QB play.
I would expect the Jets to be on the phones this week maybe to the Steelers inquiring about Mitch.
They have to do something because they are not going to any playoffs with this guy.

I wouldn't let Mitch go for less than a first round draft pick.
 
I think Wilson will get another shot before things get ugly. If he has another bad game i think the Jets will put a lot of feelers out there. Realistically a 3rd for mitch would not be bad. It would be a tempting offer
 
I think I don’t let Mitch go for anything less than a second round pick in 2024 but there’s a problem. I think the Packers now own that pick for Rodgers. When he got hurt that original first round pick went to a second. He had to play 65% of the snaps this year and that’s certainly not happening now.
Idk what the Kahn Artist would accept. I wouldn’t give Mitch away that’s for sure.
All I know is the Jets can’t go anywhere with Zack Wilson.

That’s what I’m saying 448. They’re not or shouldn’t gift wrap him for the Jets.Must be an attractive offer to move him.
Now to the playoff thing… idk man, they cannot come out and bomb Monday night or they start off already looking up from the bottom. Of course we have an entire season to play so anything can happen but if they make a great offer you have to seriously consider it, but don’t give him away.

Played as well as Kenny did. Sooo
 
In the AFC, If the dolphins win and the Browns win, there would only be three 2-0 teams… 2 in our division .. Tomorrow will not be a must win, but it would be nice…

They both played horrible I agree but this is Wilson’s third year already and has shown zero progress.
Let’s see how young Kenny responds Monday night.

I'm gonna lose my sh@t if they don't win. I'd say as close to a must win as you are getting.

Wilson is young, a year younger than Pickett. Not saying he will be great but if the Jets give up on him now it’s like saying if Pickett doesn’t have a massive turn around in the next month we should give up on him.

Yeah Wilson is only 23 starts in. He still could get better…
 
I don’t hate Kenny, wish him the best
If he’s actually good that would be awesome

But damn when ya look at the stats side by side if it is indeed time for Wilson “to get on with his life’s work” as the OP suggests it would stand to reason Kenny is also nearing that threshold of “time to get on” as the older and statistically worse player

Obviously just one game of suck so far this year and Kenny could/should improve, but for all the talk of how great Kenny looked that just looked like more of the same crap from last year. Hope the growth/work shows up soon Cuz I guess players only get 1-2 years before it’s time to get on

Personally I hope Wilson keeps sucking for the Jets all season, it’s just kinda fun watching the Jets struggle and damn the Steelers need some company at the bottom
 
People need to relax.... We are one game into the season and played one of the best teams in the league. Alot of the best QBs in the league played like hot garbage in week 1. I know people don't have faith in Canada rightly so, but the offense looked much improved during the preseason so i think game 1 was a fluke. We will see what happens tonight
 
Here's what I don't understand. Couldn't watch the game but what I am hearing is that Kenny "missed throws". To me that means it was not so much good defense but rather him having poor accuracy.
I don't care if it was preseason, if he was consistently accurate all preseason then wtf happened?
First year starer jitters?

Maybe 49er jitters. Whatever reason as one solid game wouldn't be enough to anoint him a bad game isn't enough to worry about...yet.
