Pats waste no time and fire Jerod Mayo after just 1 season. This hiring made no sense at all. He had very little coaching experience and was just handed the job of rebuilding a franchise.

I figure the Pats have to go for Vrabel.

The hire made no sense. They allowed him to coach in a game and cost them the top pick in the draft. Prime spot to trade down so they could add picks to build around drake Maye. Vrabel is a logical target, but getting a really good offensive mind with Drake Maye in hand should be the priority.

As they shouod as they will and they will be back at top of that division in four years or less.

Ryan Clark verbalized what we are saying. Essentially this pattern has to stop.

Lol based on what? There isnt another tommy boy walking through their doors anytime soon. And no, Maye is no Brady. Buffalo will rule the AFC East for the many years to come.
Vrabel us an excellent football coach. Watch him turn that around.

is it possible this was all a setup? Reports are that Kraft is good friends with Mayo. Is it possible they wanted a coach last year that was unavailable but would be available for 25. Kraft asks his friend to be a placeholder for a season.

Or maybe Mayo was told to tank but he won the game anyway. Seems fishy to fire a guy you hand picked after just 1 season where you were expected to struggle anyway.

Pick 1 may not have as much value this year as most. I don;t think there's a QB worthy of #1 overall, maybe not even top 10. Right now, I think pick 1 should be CB Travis Hunter (he's not an NFL WR) or edge Abdul Carter.

Kraft is a piece of dung. You give a guy one year to turn things around, Mayo inherited a squad that the “great Belicheat” couldn’t do anything with. Was this Kraft’s way of saying, “see, I believe in the Rooney rule.”

Mayo was Krafts hand picked coach... its extremely odd he only got one season...

and Ernie and the Deflator and Deflategate and the Tuck Rule and Spygate and ......... fuc kin cheaters!

Pederson canned after going 22-29 by jags

Doug Pederson out after 3 seasons with Jagoffs
I would immediately pick up the phone and bring him in as an offensive assistant and then hire him next year as an OC.

He might be on the JETS/New England short list for HC. If there is anyone I would consider bringing in as OC it would be Brian Dabol if he’s fired from the Giants. Some guys are just better coordinators than head coaches

You would, Tomlin would never, that would mean someone that's been more successful recently and smarter than him coming in here.

I thought I had read that Belichick had it in his contract that he got to choose his successor, which ended up being Mayo. Regardless, he certainly wasn't given enough time to turn anything around. What a **** organization.
