Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

CHAT SPORTS kills me, I wanna smack him in the face like literally...He has an angle for Rodgers every DAMN DAY....He has "Breaking News" when there ain't no news breakin'...

DK SPORTS is getting on my last nerve too...Whining waaaaay too much in May

CHRISTOPHER CARTER too many ads at the beginning of his show & I can never find his content he advertised & dude talks too fast... I cannot listen to him

THE FACILITY has an episode every damn day on the Steeler QB situation...

FIRST TAKE Wants to know basically every other day who our QB is
I just hope they don't regret not taking a chance on Shedeur. They had nothing to lose by grabbing him in the 4th. It's looking and more like they literally sabotaged their own draft by not getting Pickens traded (knowing the whole time they were considering it) and not at least picking up Shedeur (which if we believe Ryan Clark they didn't even consider it at all). For a guy who has accomplished nothing in a major role OK is so far looking like a terrible pick as GM.

Sorry, Sheduer isn’t the answer. We got as good a QB in the 6th and time will tell.

Currently Sheduer is behind KFP over there at Cleveland.

We didn’t need the circus that would follow the Sheduer.

Salute the nation

I'm still talking with my peeps, but I'm certain that Arch Manning was redshirted his first season so... as per collegiate rules, he has to be eligible for 3 years before declaring for the draft.

Stay tuned...

Nah... the only real requirement is you have to be out of high school for 3 years

If you havent graduated or graduated early but have eligibility left, you just have to petition the NFL... its a formality...

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY ( from nfl site)

To be eligible for the draft, players must have been out of high school for at least three years and must have used up their college eligibility before the start of the next college football season. Underclassmen and players who have graduated before using all their college eligibility may request the league’s approval to enter the draft early.

Players are draft-eligible only in the year after the end of their college eligibility.

What about Breakfast Ball, Greenies, or Speak show?
That's my point. The media creates a shitstorm to have something to riff on all off season and the fans follow with their anxiety going through the roof(Including mine).

While I don't think Art 2 has made the best decisions after he took over I still think we have a decent team and Rodgers if he signs makes us a contender if only for a couple of years. If he doesn't sign we roll with Mason. It could be worse.
It could be worse? Yea, we could be the Browns or the Jets, but something tells me we are about to be worse than those 2 teams. Browns have already beat our recent playoff game wins. At our house against us. Yea, things are so awesome.

I would most Definity prefer to have future HOF Jack Sawyer on the roster over Shedeur.

Didn't imply they were awesome and everyone knows till Tomlin leaves the odds of achieving anything worthwhile are pretty low.

I still believe though that a guy like Rodgers can carry this offense and over come Tomlin, but we have to have a legit #2 WR.

I wanted Rodgers before the Jets grabbed him, but the Steelers went with Turdbisky.

Big IF, but if Jones settles in at LT, with the upgrades at RB and WR1 this looks closer to the 2019/20 Titans, and I think Howard would be put in a position to succeed — he’s smart, is a good distributor, and is really good at play-action, which is a Smith staple.
Being that the Steelers only have three QBs rostered heading into OTA's, it's a safe assumption that Rogers will sign with the Steelers. Assuming that is the case, Howard will be QB3 and won't see the field this season barring any potential injuries to Rogers and Rudy. Next season, I'd like to believe that he could work and grow into a solid backup role or even a potential starter. My reservations about him stem from being the eighth QB selected in a very weak draft class at the position, and the Steeler's coaching staff being able to develop the young lad into a successful NFL starter. Personally, I really like the kid. Great size, very intelligent, highly coachable, elevates his play in big moments, Hell of a runner for a man his size, and he has a love for the game. I'm rooting for him.

We don't disagree. "Turdbisky" was a truly awful decision, whoever made that call (likely Clown-lin) He was handed the starting job without ever earning it. Mason got jobbed that year. Clown-lin thought he knew what was up, he didn't have a clue.

Well, I did some digging & guess what peeps ?

Jack Sawyer was a five-star recruit.

He was ranked as the #4 overall player nationally and the No. 3 defensive end by 247Sports. He was also considered the top overall player in Ohio.

So sports media is not much different than the political main stream media? 😁

Everyone in Ohio knows. He never became the next Bosa or Young like everyone hoped, though he did have a good senior season.

Why Rodgers? He's a better QB than anyone currently on the roster. He gives the Steelers a chance to sneak into the playoffs and maybe compete in the Wild Card game.

Why not? Starting Mason puts the Steelers in better draft position for 2026. It will limit the amount they'll need to move up to get a QB. Odds are the record will be bad enough and his stats will be underwhelming enough that Howard can get a few spot starts at the end of the season so we get to see what he's made of.

Rodgers is living in the moment. Mason is looking toward the future.
