I know, we’ve been hearing this for two seasons now, but I have to wonder if Muth requested a trade. I’d be totally fine with that, Jonnu makes him redundant and they need Washington to bolster the OL.

Give me some names….AJ Brown griping in Philly, could he be a target? Olave? Garrett Wilson want out of 0-6 NY?

I’ll bite I’m board waiting for a flight…. Trade muth to Carolina for wr Xavier Leggette panthers 6-2 225 4.3 he won’t be the number 1 in Carolina they drafted that guy and renthro is the slot-2nd. We need a stud that can “learn” to be a good slot -nd2 and Rodgers working with him he will do that. He’s not great now but be could become a Steeler he is big and fast and already blocks better than Muth! GoSteelers!

Wilson is out for a few weeks with injury and I think he is a bit of a head case. Brown has been griping for a couple years. If brown can't be happy on a SB team, no chance he would be happy here with the way our passing game is. Olave is a good player, but had a lot of concussions so that is a toss up. My pick would be waddle from Miami, but with Hill out not sure they would be willing to give him up. I would also take JuJu back from KC. He is a good blocker and has been getting open underneath. With Rice coming back KC might find him expendable and it would give them a solid option with / behind Kelce

As it relates to Freiermuth, it's hard to imagine a team willing to trade a good WR for a good TE.

What would they really be gaining, unless they are ridiculously deep at WR? I tend to doubt any team is that deep at the position.

Freiermuth definitely will not be adding any blocking dimension. Good player, but he's the ultimate finese TE.

If the Steelers want to upgrade behind Metcalf at WR, they're going to have to invest some decent draft capital, IMO.

Freiermuth may very well also get moved to recoup any picks the Steelers give up for a WR, as they seem determined to have as many picks as possible to move up for a QB if necessary with the draft being in Pittsburgh.

If you're talking about a trade involving Freiermuth I wouldn't want to trade JuJu for Freiermuth though. I really dont want to trade Freiermuth in conference at all unless its to a bad team (not including a AFC north team for obvious reasons even though they're all bad). I liked JuJu when he was here but I dont see him as someone who can pick up the slack anymore as a #2 should DK go down. Those days seem to be behind him to me. We need someone who is not far off from being a #1.

If Muth requests a trade, it won't be for a WR, just more draft capital for next year's draft.
I don’t see Muth asking out he seems like a team player…

i mentioned trading for Legette a week or so ago. Some fool named NoKap tried to wrap his vagina wings around it saying it was a bad idea.

His money will keep him loyal because if traded, I think the new structured contract would ultimately lower his pay. (not initially, but long term)

I understand you being a moderator and having to real ALL content.

The Eagles Brown if the Birds would even trade him would be very expensive trade. Players and I mean like Muth and Highsmith and possibly a third to get him then you absorb his contract.
Nah, ain’t happening.
Muth I think would get you a draft pick but he alone I don’t believe gets you a guy like Olave or Jacoby Meyers.

I'm a no on Brown, if they're even shopping him. The Steelers dealt a talented WR because of the gray matter between his ears. It makes no sense to then deal for another one. Olave is just a guy, and his eggs have been scrambled a few times already. Meyers could be a good #2 and I doubt the price tag is as high. Assuming, of course, that they really are looking to acquire a WR.

Here's a crazy option:

And I like the Legette pitch BTW; but...

FACT - we need a WR that can -

1. Get open and separate quickly
2. Catch the ball when it's thrown to him (not trying to offend any gender-nazi believers with the 'him' pronoun)

So, who would Berm be calling RIGHT NOW???

We need guys that run FORWARD and do this thing called BLOCKING for teammates.

I wonder what AB is up to these days?

Saw him on a podcast smoking a huge blunt, that dude is certifiably crazy as ****!
Evidently Berm was in on that blunt:ROFLMAO: Only WR with worse hands than Pat.
I'm out on Brown
We already grossly overpaid for a WR
Simultaneously trading a younger more talented guy who was paid nothing in comparison.
Grossly overpaying another older WR to the tune of 30+ million would be insane.
Bengals are the perfect example of what not to do.
Two huge WR contracts with a suspect O-line.
No thank you

This is a hard pass. He couldn't make it on teams that were desperate for a WR. Plus apparently he has developed major attitude issues. He just totally lost it after he left here

Well, I was just throwing my monkey poop on the wall hoping for it to stick...

He lost it before he left here which is he left here via trade.

Lazard helps. Legette could be special with a non-midget throwing to him, but it's a 6th for Lazard, who is 6"2 220 and plays faster than his 4.5 time. With Lazard and when you go to go 3 WR 1 Te and Warren as a TB, you can allow Austin when back to run those crossers, where the slot and the te Smith both run inside crosses, and DK runs deep in the clear-out room, and you can get Lazard to run a deep 15 curl.
