Well i have finally tested positive. No idea how i got it. After work yesterday my head started hurting out of the blue. My temp has been like 101.7. Other than that i have no other symptoms

Last I saw 40% of the restaurants in the country will go under. I'm not sure the statistics on health clubs. I'm sure the big chains like LA.Fitness will make it, while they may have to close a few locations. It really depends on if you have a commie govenor.

The good news is the vaccine will be going to the most susceptible for major health impact here shortly.

I don't know if you're a fan of the show Everybody Loves Raymond, but there was an episode where his dad was taking "ED" supplements that had him completely lose his sense of taste, and hilarity ensued. Depending on whether your significant other can cook or not, may be a good thing.

My wife and I went out to cut down our Christmas tree yesterday, stopped off to eat at a diner on the other side of the mountain from the Peoples Republic of Charlottesville (I won't spend a dime there), https://mrsrowesrestaurantandbakery.com/ They have the best homemade meals and pies. It was empty...The fast food restaurants and Chilis on the other side of the highway were packed. It will be a damn shame when the Mom and Pop restaurants, hardware stores, convenience stores, etc. are gone.

New York hits highest COVID-19 positive test rate since May

New York just had its highest rate of positive COVID-19 tests since May, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday.

Cuomo — who has said the positive-test-rate figure is the most accurate in terms of predicting worrisome potential spikes — said the state’s percentage Saturday was 4.27, up from 3.9 the day before.

The state last hit 4.2 percent on May 20, according to its Web site. It went over 4.2 percent on May 18.

“This is a new phase for COVID. You want to call it the winter phase. You want to call it the holiday phase. You want to call it the surge upon surge phase,” Cuomo told reporters on a conference call. “That’s where we are.”

He said the recent uptick in cases is still part of the virus’s “first wave.

“If you look at New York versus other states, New York is doing very, very well,” the governor said. “If you look at New York relative to only New York, you see the numbers going up. Not as fast as in other states, but the numbers are going up.”..................

I didn't feel well last night and been blowing my nose more than usual over the weekend. Last night I felt real hot all night but okay by the time I showered and dressed and went to work. Went to the urgent care across the road from my work as soon as I got there. I said here's my symptoms but I don't feel sick sick. No fever right now but they gave me a test since I have The Beetus. Now I'm quarantined for three days until I get the test results back and my wife had to leave work too and is pissed at me. She can work from home though. If I was a betting man and putting real money on it I'd say I'm negative but I do work with the public.

So when wearing a cloth or surgical mask can you see your breath when outside in the cold? Guessing you can but its not cold enough down here in Va yet for me to test it. Is your breath as visible with your mask on as with it off? Would be interesting to test as the virus is hitching a ride on that vapor.

I know in upstate NY we had next to nothing. To date, Jefferson County NY (which includes Watertown) has had 551 cases and 3 deaths. So I think you may be on to something there.

South Dakota’s was at 60% at about 1/40th of the population density of New York.

No, she's pissed because I didn't say anything to her this morning and she went to work. Then had to tell her work that her idiot husband got tested and was quarantined and she had to leave. We usually sleep in different bedrooms anyway because I need the TV on to get to sleep (tinnitus) so it's not likely I gave it to her even if I do have it. I don't know that I have it but I have to quarantine until I get the test results. I'm not the sort to panic just because I have a sniffle but the fever last night kinda concerned me.
