This is how you say "yep I got it wrong not once, not twice...but three times?"

No dumbshit, let me repeat AGAIN - go READ the article itself. When I posted the article, I had read it, you know, prior to posting it. Therefore I knew it was a prediction. I even, in stupid *** rebuttals with your annoying ***, pointed out that the article and he said words like "may" and "might". The article was posted on its face value - we may be at or very near herd immunity.
You attempt to needle and back people into corners. It's your schtick. Once again, you ****** up. You didn't read the article. You accused me of making the quote. Then the Dr. for making the quote. Then mistook the dates. One of your more colossal **** ups. I applaud you on screwing this one up 6 days to Sunday and back.
SD and ND are leading the nation in current case ratios. Their stance, to let it ride, worked. It's not spreading there any more. Yet it still runs rampant in some of your fave states like NY, CA, PA, VA, MD. Hats off again to SD and ND to go through a hard phase to get to where they are today....states that have combined only 4,000 total cases. Bravo!
By the way, deaths are down 22% over the past 14 days. Bravo!!
You sir have banged on the US Death Rate drum since the beginning. No switching arguments mid stream now floggy. Our Death Rate is bad because we are soooooo unhealthy. Keep sticking your pig head in the sand all you like, you're denying a FACT because it goes against your religion, your ideology. We had a higher death rate because we are so damned fat (36% of us) and nearly 11% of us have diabetes.
MSNBC and the CDC and scientists around the world agree with me. But please, it's utterly comical to watch you continue to disagree with this. Go on, I encourage it.
More than a year after the coronavirus came to the United States, and governments across the world instituted measures ostensibly to limit its spread, there remains much we don’t know about the disease. And if the Chinese Communist Party gets its way, there is much that we will never know for...

FROM THE ARTICLE (said so you don't believe I may have said this...again):
Being overweight makes the coronavirus worse. According to
a March report by the World Obesity Federation:
The report adds that “of the 2.5 million COVID-19 deaths reported by the end of February 2021, 2.2 million were in countries where more than half the population is classified as overweight.” There may be other factors at play; air-conditioning, climate, time spent indoors, etc.
But in a survey of its own, also in March, our own CDC found that, in the United States, more than half of coronavirus patients in hospitals were medically obese, and an additional 28 percent were overweight. These findings could resolve an essential quandary concerning coronavirus spread and intensity, explaining why some countries and other regions with inferior medical systems or starkly differing coronavirus-mitigation strategies have fared far better than those with apparently superior systems or strategies. It may be that the preexisting health of a population has more to do with how that population deals with the coronavirus than almost anything else, because, generally speaking, a person who is healthy and fit is better-equipped than someone who is neither to deal with the coronavirus. As U.K. prime minister Boris Johnson, who had a particularly nasty bout of coronavirus, bluntly
put it after he recovered: “I was too fat.”
