Covid Vaccine

Two points for one of the three stooges (Decaf, 21IQ and Flog). Still trying to determine the "Moe" in that group. First point - when I raise ten issues that show lying by the lying liars telling lies, and you pick one to raise some half-assed dispute, you further demonstrate your stupidity.

Second, when the CDC stated that those who were fully vaccinated needed to continue wearing masks and social distancing, that was false. The fact that 0.2% might get a reduced version of the Chinese flu cannot possibly, under any circumstances, support imposing continued restrictions on the other 99.8% of the population. Only an imbecile, Chinese flu addict, or combination thereof would think otherwise.

Floggy, if the bird mask and dunce cap fit ...
You’ve got issues alright!

You’ve got issues alright!

Jesus, God help us, THAT'S your attempt at humor?? I offer your comment as overwhelming evidence as to how dumb and unfunny leftists are. I have seen funnier comments from 2nd graders.

As an aside, and further proof that you are an idiot, "alright" is not a word standard English, Floggy. You were trying to say, "all right."

Is alright a real word?

The form alright is a one-word spelling of the phrase all right that made its first appearance in the 1880s. Alright is commonly used in written dialogue and informal writing, but all right is the only acceptable form in edited writing. Basically, it is not all right to use alright in standard English.

Idiot.

You’ve got issues alright!

Several issues he doesn't have:
  1. Backing up his statements with verifiable information from typically reputable sources.
  2. While snarky (nothing against him, we all are here), Jimmy McGill makes well-thought out, practical & cogent arguments on the facts/issues at hand.
  3. He doesn't cherry pick one-liners of an argument with another one-liner (your specialty BTW).
  4. He donates to the forum he frequents on a daily basis.
So, what's your issue(s)?

It’s hard to believe there isn’t more participation in this forum.

I get it. We resort to basically trolling one another (after many fact-based responses are ignored or cherry-picked) much of the time, and we can be juvenile. But I think we've all tried civil discourse at some point in time here.

What do we do at that point?

I've had enough boys...I'm goin in...Too much **** from family, friends and wife to go on. I've fought this virus successfully with my trusty one layer Penguins mask, washing my hands regularly and staying away from sick people but I'm a going in tomorrow to get decently shot....J&J one shot. High noon... Walmart...

Getting good and drunk so I'll look and feel my best when they fill me full of who knows what....

JMM, you are doing what you think is right for the good of the people around you that you love, not for yourself (as far as I can tell). Good on you. Good luck buddy.

I've never been an anti-vaxxer, they're one of the 5 greatest medical discoveries of humankind (people seem to forget medical imaging, antibiotics, anesthesia, germ theory, transplants etc.) and the entire world is doing their best with it. The only thing is - is that we're the guinea pigs on this one.

Just because someone feels personally strongly about something doesn't mean they're right or they're wrong about anything. Just like anything in this life, you weigh the decisions you make based on everything you love around you and what you as an individual think is best. That's what makes (or made) us a great people. That's what makes (or made) me proud to be an American. Freedom of thought. Freedom of choice.

No matter how much they chip away at it, it'll always be there at the core. Chalk that up next to death and taxes IMO. God speed.

Dehydration isn’t going to help with side effects.

Dehydration isn’t going to help with side effects.

Insufferable prick (N): An idiot who pretends to know it all; somebody with no sense of humor and who makes Debbie Downer look like a party girl; a freeloading loser whose stupidity is surpassed only by his undeserved arrogance.
JMM made a funny post, but Flog ***** on the joke because Flog is an insufferable prick.

Pretty much what Donk said above (that's Steelworth).

I'll provide comparable examples.

OFTB and I have often gotten into discourse, discussion, debate. She and I have agreed on most issues, not all. We have disagreed with each other vehemently at times. But our discussions are civil, we offer thoughts and substantiate our opinions. As debates should be. No name calling, just a general level of respect.

Then there are those like Flog and Tibs. Who, as a practice, discount any "other" theories outright. They ignore all evidence, facts, supported documentation. They belittle their opponents. It's never a discussion.

We've tried factual, evidence-based discourse with the latter. Wash, rinse, repeat. All facts/evidence are dismissed due to ideology.

To be totally translucent, there was ice in my drinks.

British model dies of blood clot after getting Covid Vaccine…

Posted by Kane on May 25, 2021 7:37 am

A British model who suffered a ‘very rare’ blood clot has died days after being given the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in Cyprus. Stephanie Dubois, 39, suffered a ‘serious thrombotic episode’ after being given the jab.

Oh great....Thanks Indy...

I think I'll wait until after I get my shot before I buy the big screen TV at WalMart.

Now this from Project Veritas, their latest...obtaining documents showing Facebook collaborated to silence global concerns about vaccines.

The company has set up a tier system to rank comments on various scales, based on how much the statement questions or cautions against the Covid-19 vaccination.

Tier 2, for instance, represents “Indirect Discouragement” of getting vaccinated and according to PV’s sources, user comments such as these would be heavily “suppressed.”

It doesn’t matter if the comments are true, factual or represent reality. The comment is demoted, buried and hidden from view of the public if it clashes with this system.

“It doesn’t match the narrative,” one insider explained. “The narrative being, get the vaccine, the vaccine is good for you. Everyone should get it. And if you don’t, you will be singled out,”

One of the insiders, a Data Center Technician, leaked multiple internal documents detailing an algorithm test being run on 1.5 percent of Facebook and Instagram’s nearly 3.8 billion users worldwide.

The goal? To, “drastically reduce user exposure to vaccine hesitancy (VH) in comments.”

“They're trying to control this content before it even makes it onto your page before you even see it,” one insider said.

So Facebook is a good source for Covid vaccine information?

So Facebook is a good source for Covid vaccine information?

What exactly was the comment that was deleted or suppressed? Did it come from a respected virologist, or vaccine expert?

And do you place more faith in some gender studies major from Wesleyan in deciding to suppress the comment?

Showing you are wrong is easier than breathing.

So Facebook is a good source for Covid vaccine information?

A recent study showed that 36% of Americans get their news from Facebook alone. Many from other social media platforms.

When news is shared that hints at vaccine hesitancy, it is suppressed.

That should concern everyone...except Leftists like you which are all about suppression of free speech and support Pravda-like media.

No terrible side effects yet but after my 15 minute wait time was complete, I had an urge to buy birkenstocks and bought a Subaru.

I think I'll put a wind turbine on the hill behind our house.

Damnit

Our golf league plays on Wednesdays. One of the guys in our group last week tested positive for COVID on Sunday. His daughter had tested positive, which I believe is what prompted the test, and he mentioned that he had been feeling fatigued. He had been fully vaccinated as of mid March, but I'm not sure which of the two vaccines. I'm not vaccinated, and aside from drinking heavily, I'm not sure what to do in terms of quarantining. I had planned to get my first dose this week, but I may need to rethink, or not. I don't really want to be running around, potentially spreading COVID, unless it's clothing optional.

I laughed out loud for a good minute straight.

(I'm easily amused :p)

So you think if medical professionals hadn’t worn masks at all that it wouldn’t have made a damn bit of difference?

I work for several hundred doctors, a handful of which got Covid.
Do you bring them coffee or pizza?
