She was released from ICU to a regular room and her oxygen reduced from 100% to 50%, never went home. It seemed she was on the mend. I don’t know exactly what transpired to require the emergency surgery yesterday, her son posted it was damage to other organs but I don’t know exactly what.

The article was from the PITTSBURGH Post-Gazette. The two major health systems in Pittsburgh are UPMC and AHN. UPMC doesn’t have a vaccine mandate, AHN is still in its grace period. Their staffing shortages have nothing to do with terminations.

Stay on topic, Tim. deliveries and surgeries don’t take place in ICUs and ERs.

so my 21 year old daughter, J&J vaxxed shot, departed from her 5-day Covid isolation on Sunday. She wanted to go see Spider-Man, so we met up to see Spider-Man. She followed the "protocol" and was masked up from the time she got to the theater until the movie was over. The theater we go to is attached to a mall, with a parking garage. You miss the point and made an irrelevant comparison… someone with a compromised immune system has no or little immunity response… it would be like putting a newborn in an adult seatbelt and expecting it to work correctly… but the point is that not absolutely everyone’s body reacts the same to any drug or treatment… every year tens of thousands of people have adverse reactions to asprin… because no matter how safe body chemistry can be different from person to person especially as we medicate more…

This is why doctors sometimes have to try several different drugs to fix an issue and why things like adverse event tracking are done on drugs…

It stands to reason that an illness like covid, which has drastically different responses from different people’s bodies may have drastically different responses from any vaccine built on the virus or parts of it too…

Your initial argument, that everyone’s body reacts to the vaccine the same way is unsound logic… it generally will, but there is a large swath of people who will experience vastly different things from it…
