2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Pens gonna make sure they keep this interesting.
 
Sounds like Ottawa is doing their best to tie it up. Did we immediately go into a shell after that goal?
 
MTC , what happened to Rust? Concussion?
 
Looked like a concussion, but have not heard officially that I know of. Got hit in head then his head hit the ice when he went down

Did his head hit the ice? The replay from behind looked like whip lash. Rust is Mr. Playoff, but I think the boys can get this series done without him. Once the Pens start cracking this 1-3-1 and putting pucks in net. They dominated. Sheary is a turnover machine, but he clicks with Sid so well

Ruhwedal had a solid game. Dumo wasn't good, nor bad. Refreshing to be the more physical team for change. We can out hit and skate this series. Andersen is capable of stealing games like MAF vs Wash. very mirror like of last series
 
For being down a couple players and to keep their shots on goal at 0 for most of the third they must have been playing some good D
 
Good game! They played some inspired hockey tonight. Showed some speed, hard hits and tight D with losing Schultz and Rust. Hope they are good to go for Game 3.
 
Anderson isn't going to hold up like that every night. Easily could have been 4-0. That was one of the most dominant 1-0 wins you'll see. Great win!

yeah, I told you Kunitz just needed me calling for him to be benched to have a good game
 
Rusty should be back. Not too sure about Shultz. Next man up.

I don't have stats to back me up but it seems that the Pens win if they score first and lose if they don't.
 
heard that some were saying the game was boring. I think the game was anything but boring. It was intense, grind-it-out hockey. Anyone expecting 5-4, 4-3 games are going to be disappointed. Loved how the Pens handled the trap and shut the Sens down. Hope we see the walking wounded back Game 3 or 4.

ridiculous, they must not have watched

the tension was building higher and higher the longer no one scored - all those chances that just missed - you can't get a more exciting, nerve-wracking game!


Definitely need Daley back now, and Horny, and we need puck movers, I think Streit would be fine.

I felt the same way. The tension was building with every shift, shot and hit. I thought one goal would win it and it did. So thankful Phil the Thrill got it for the Good Guys!

There is a good chance Streit plays in Ottawa and he will be very good for this series. He is defensive minded and been there. Again, I really like our depth, next man up!
