Ha! Nah man. The Pens need to heal up. Much needed. The Rags look like **** thank God. CBJ though--Yikes! The Pens deserve a break though. Gonna be a hard fought spring
 
Nice for a break. Been watching other games this week. I have center ice so it's nice to catch up on some other teams. Looking forward to the caps and jackets tomorrow. One of the only times I'll root for Washington. Don't want Columbus to break our record.

Going to get an up-close look at CBJ next week in Raleigh against Carolina. Wish I could have hit the Pens game later.
 
Canada got away with a trip on the their first goal. Other than that, their forechecking is way too much for the USA right now. In NHL news. The Craps up on CBJ 4-0. Torts lost on a challenge, which to me looked like the Craps were offside. But play stood, Craps up 4-0. Pens record may hold up
 
Good response by the USA in the 2nd. McAvoy is legit. A few bs calls in favor of Canada. But this looks to be a game going down to the wire
 
I just talked with a Penguins writer, and she told me that the Pens have zero chance of losing any of their goalies this year. I was worried for Murray, but he doesn't have enough seasons played. Same as their minor league goalies. They are all safe because they need at least 2 full seasons played in the league. Murray would be at 1 1/2. Then Fluery is safe because he has a no trade clause. So no goaltenders are eligible for the expansion draft.

That was a sigh of relief for me!

I can still see MAF being let go. Next season I predict Murray/Jarry. One of the great things about the Pens of late is the readiness of the kids from WBS. Under Johnston and Bylsma it took players awhile to transition. Although under Bylsma, I thought Pouliot played decent.

Pens looking sharp in the 3rd. Wow. Nice feed from Sid to Phil to go up 5-2. I know Tampa has injuries, but their dynamic is gone???!

Cullen had that nice short handed opportunity!!! ****! 4-1. I think thats game. My thoughts: I thought the Pens played ok. Bad possession and turnovers though. When they had the puck they generated good pressure. Oh well. Still a lot of hockey left.

Trust me...it gets worse...they were totally outmatched....turnovers galore....Wash ruled
