2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

2:58 left. I think Pens have this game. Logging off Steeler Nation. MTC is coming down with the flu :(
 
Nice win against a good team. Much better defense. I like it.

A few thougts from last nights game:
Liked the defense. Gaunce, Cole, Maatta have really pinched out the offensive rushes to the side. Murray had chances to see the puck on shots and looked solid. Murray is shaking off the rust.
-Despite Cullen's injury, the 4th line looked good with Fehr. He brings a physical presence that Cullen doesn't and got a nice goal as a result. Although not the fanciest of skaters. He does grind out
Sheary- The way Coolie pumps Ayers. I'm kinda like that with Sheary. He compliments Sid well. Puck handling and passing are decent and he will only get better.
Guentzel- Another kid who needs to stay up in the NHL. He clicks with Malkin and is not afraid to dish out punishment against the boards.
Injuries- Letang, Dumoulin, Cullen. Will be key guys to make another deep playoff push when they get back. The Pens lines last night can carry this team forward until these guys can be near healthy.

Last but not least. The flu sucks. Feeling better today. But didnt get to enjoy a good Pens performance last night
 
Pens are kicking ***. Goals 3 and 4 tonight were scored within 18 seconds. Conor Sheary is the man!
 
4 on 4 hockey right now. Pens looking good. Sound defenisvely and great puck movement/scoring opportunities
 
Penguinoes roll over the Bostoners. Hope that trend continues for the balance of the day.
 
Pens played a solid game. A bit rusty after the ice situation, but they moved around again. Big game by Sid's line. Sheary is really solidifying his name as a Pen
 
Steelers have no Matt Murray stopper on defense - I hope this is the last time anyone tries to connect the teams

Fehr is filling in nicely on that 4th line in Cullen's absence btw. They bring a physical mentality to the teams speed game. Like Hornqvist, Fehr has been battling it out in front of the net. I doubt any Pens staffers read this, if so. Keep up Gaunce and Guentzel. Great contributors and have improved their linemates abilities
 
Where's MTC?

Pens look good, but the points have been soft at times on the forecheck.

Shultz got whooped by Reeves. Mini MTC has me busy at the moment
-Sid's line
-Fehr's line
Both look good

-Dumoulin is rusty. I do not understand why they sent down Cameron Gaunce
 
Malkin's line is having trouble looking in passes it seems
 
Wilson didn't look too well after that hit o.O

Pens will boucne back in the 3rd. I'll log back in the third myself. See yinz in a few

I assume you got the game tonight Djfan? Pens look ok. Not fast, but they are generating pressure. Defense looks eh. Not good, not bad. Just need a few lucky bounces
 
Rivalry Wednesday shows here. It's good.

Our PP is lame tonight. It's odd, because the Pens are really skating well and the sticks are good tonight.
