2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

I was at the game with a bunch from the Pitt alumni.
No heart and Fueury was awful. Showcasing him for a trade? Every one around me was asking about Murray.

To top it off the Pens could have won, but a late goal was waived off because of a high stick by Phx just before the puck went in.

Fleury has been really horrible of late. Lets in soft goals and the scheme seems different in front of him. Like they purposely expose him. It was a sloppy road trip imo. I couldn't watch last nights game, but sounds like they continued what they were in Denver.

Well, Rust and Sheary are both hurt. What I am reading is that Rust may be a more long term injury, hopefully not season ending. Shearly likely out 2-4 more weeks. Hagelin has a concussion. Malkin will likely return tonight against the Canucks. This team is ****** up injury wise. Not thrilled with the idea of leaning on Rowney, Guentzel and Archibald long term.

This would be huge! Who would the Pens shop though?
Fleury/perhaps a youger D man like Pouliot???

Duchene as a Pens forward with some speed on offensive rushes. This guy would be a great offensive addition to the Pens. Pressure off Sid and Geno

Duchene for Fleury and Pouliot? I make that deal and don't look back. That said, Fleury is playing like hot garbage anymore. Good luck with that.

Isn't he a natural center though? Do we need to make position changes at this point?

Most of the speed guys are true wingers to compliment Sid, Geno, Cullen. Duchene would easily bolster a 3rd/4th line. Perhaps scratching Fehr. At least my opinion.

Right now, with the injuries piling up. And yes Sarge, Rust' injury looked bad. Sheary should be coming back soon. I think the Pens are in much need of another offensive threat such as Duchene. As much as MAF has looked horrible, I wonder if Tristan Jarry would be ready for the nhl level

I think the Pens grab 2 points tonight. Gonna be missing tonights game. Valentines day, promised the kiddo a donut date. So he's been bothering me and the mrs.
Let's Go Pens!

Let's get it Sid.
Got to catch the 3rd. And saw the highlights. Geno looked good. That slow down and the pass to Kessel was beautiful. Sid almost cashed in 1'000 with a backhand. Damn!

Nice shut out win over the Canucks! Nice to see they have the redwings Sunday afternoon 3pm NBC .

It's time to get rid of Fluery. Murray is much better. I've always been a big fan of the Flower, but he just doesn't seem to be happy here any more and that's understandable. That OT goal he gave up the other day was just horrid. He needs a fresh start somewhere and hopefully we can get something decent in return.

I have never had much of an issue with Fleury during the regular season....it's all about the playoffs. Outside of the Stanley Cup be backed, I never had faith with him in goal and often times when the Pens needed him to pull out a game he could never be counted to do it in the spring.

MAF deserves credit for the Pens playoff hopes last season. He's been "disinterested" this season it seems. Maybe he is gonna be trade bait/on his last hours in Pittsburgh who knows. If anything, MAF and the Pens are handling the situation as classy as can be. He is a good locker room presence guy from the accounts of teammates. However, cannot take away anything from Murray. The dude has a different mindset and is not shaken. Thats the attitude and composure the Pens need moving forward. This team has a real strong chance at repeating. The best option is Murray

Will Sid get 1'000 tonight?
-Dustin Bfuyglien scares me. The dude can hit within the rules.
-Patrick Laine---pretty damn good offensive presence for the Jets. At 6'5 I expect guys like Cole, Kunitz, Rowney to pinch him off

Pens
-Sid---Let's get that goal(s)
-Geno---looked good last game. I expect a strong performance from his line
--defense---the Jets are pretty big. Can the defense keep the puck moving and use the Pens smaller yet speedier game to their advantage?

Malkin up on the rebound to put the Pens up 1-0---Horny with the assist it looked like

Pens speed looks really good. Forecheck is strong so far

1,000!!!!

2-0

Pens need to bury these guys. Winnipeg is pretty physical

OT after the Pens were up 2-0
Pens turned it on after the Malkin hit. They were down 3-2

Nice check by Kunitz. Nice ******* save by MAF on a Jets breakaway

Malkin should've passed to Kessel. I think this game is going into a shootout

what a wild finish!

Flubbing Fleury blows a 2-0 lead then makes a huge save - Sid wins it with 20 sec to go in OT!

The fans go wild
