2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

2-1 Pens! Nice! Skimmed through on the dvr. Pens looked really good in the 2nd.
Hainsey and Streit are good pairing. Cole is ******* improved this season. Defense looks good so far. Not gonna beat my chest yet. Gotta play consistent. Finish it up Pens
 
Bolts took advantage of the PP. damn laser shot by Kucherov
 
Oooh. Dumo took a nasty hit. He finished up the shift though
 
Well damn . The game I miss. They get a W. Figures..haha. Didn't know it was on nhln until now. Next.

They looked better, but they still give up WAY too much time in the defensive zone. I especially enjoyed Drouin doing laps around the entire Pens team for a while there. I know there are new pieces and parts getting acclimated. But man, gotta tighten that up.

And I am still trying to figure out why the team waived Fehr and kept Cullen. Cullen looks every bit his age anymore and coupled with the bad decisions he makes on a nightly basis, he has no business being on the ice. His position is one that needs an upgrade.

Cullen and Bonino need an upgrade. Cullen looks pretty decent on Sid's wing along with Kessel. Bonino needs an upgrade. I do not understand why Fehr was traded. Big body and he was playing well these past couple weeks. Drouin was punking Hagelin on 1 on 1's. I'm liking Hainsey and Streit, they are moving the puck quickly and are good offensive presences. My heart stopped a bit when I saw Cole go down. Dude is tough and came back in. Dumoluin too
 
Good to see Montreal on top of NYR. The Rags are applying some good pressure with a few offensive rushes though.
Canadiens up 2-0
 
Good to see the Rags struggling right now. Should keep the Pens competitve for the 2nd or 3rd spot in the metro. Just reel off a few wins and save our best for the playoffs. A healthy Letang, along with Hainsey, Streit, Cole and Dumo. Upgraded defense. I see Daley and Maattaa as the odd men out come playoffs

Christ,the Pens just try too much fancy passing BS. Wastes so many scoring opportunities. Just play hockey and get the goal. Doesn't have to be pretty. Sabres with 2 ugly goals off of 2 ugly turnovers. 2-0 Sabres.

Two boneheaded penalties by Hagelin too
 
Cole and Ruhewedel have been on the ice for all 3 Buffalo goals. Might want to change that pairing or play them a little less. Or something.

Cole is a stay back guy. I'd take out Ruhewedel, he's just bad.
 
New Jersey is playing Columbus pretty tough right now. Pens need to take care of business today
 
I tell you what, there are few things better than watching Guentzel almost score. Does it 4 or 5 times a game. Today is no exception.

Hate the no look passes. Malkin nearly turned that over. Good play set up though
 
No, Guentzel just can't finish. Watch the guy. He has 4-5 close calls like that every game. He just cannot finish. That is why he doesn't play with Sid anymore. You can only be set up alone in front so many times before you are forbidden to play with the captain.
