My first Pens game I got to attend, yinz welcome I brought them good luck.
Thankfully Murray was put in, I think that was the turning point. And turning the heat up putting some shots on goal.........

Murray held his own. I thought Jarry was solid for the most part.
Being up 3-1. Should've never gotten that ugly lol. But the Pens were back at it.
Cannot complain.

I did it was great to finally attend a game after decades of watching them. They need to tighten that D up a little if they want to sneak into the playoffs this year.

We are lucky to have two quality goaltenders to keep bailing each other out.
Pens have a busy schedule coming up after the break. If there is a push, it needs to come now.

The defense has been suspect even during the cup wins.
I think this season is just the breaking point.
So I turn on the game and the Pens are up 3-1. Then 3-2, then 3-3. Yes, it's my fault. Sorry.

Maybe this team really did need to be backed up against a wall to show their best hockey. They need to come out of the break and keep it going though.
I think Geno has decided he will singlehandedly get this team into the playoffs, in his interview after the game he was all laughing and smiling and pumping up the team

I was surprised to see Sid named an All-Star ? He's that good but not this year. Then I saw Letang named.? You have to be kidding. Yes, He has some points but those of us that have watched know he cost us a ton of games..
Kessel not being named is a shocker. He has had a strong first half. I'm disappointed in that one.
Next I saw Fluery ? His stats are fantastic but he only had 12 starts ?

I miss Fluery and I have a feeling that the locker room does also. Murray has proven to be a winner but right now between bad defense and maybe some growing pains he is suffering. He has just now reached the point of enough starts to really not be a rookie. I see a lot of Fluery in Jarry. We are lucky to have to good, may become great goalies. If our defense was just a bit better, both would look even better.
Kessel has been the Pens' MVP so far. I can't believe he got snubbed. I guess it's more name recognition than performance, kind of like the Pro Bowl.
