Sid definitely has another gear. When he wants it, OT, big games, playoffs. He seems to find it. Wish we could see it a little more often.

Riikola is human and we are finding that out. I think a little time in WBS would have been a benefit. He does have all the tools and what appears to be a really good hockey IQ.

Sprong isn't getting playing time for good reason. He is lost out there. I don't know if he's trying too hard, over thinking or what ?

This team is going to be fun to watch. So many narratives, Brassard, Sprong Riikola, Murray. I could go one but it's only October.

What a game!!! Elvis burned down the f'n building tonight!

I think that was the first time since we had a playoff blowout win 2 years ago that I was not sitting on the edge of the seat.

Great to see #7 get a goal there at the end

Too bad Murray didn't get the SO but damn good game. A savage beating!

Only one goal against this evening. That's what I like to see. That's 15 goals in two games now. They got their ducks all in a row.
 
Yea, that was a good one last night. Those blowout games are fun. Can relax, sit back, enjoy the game, no stress, hope for a shutout, but if it doesn't happen, no big deal. Bring on the Canucks! We have a little payback for them.
 
Murray starting to look like his old self....Some of those saves he made last night were impressive., Seen the team speed we haven't seen for quite awhile overwhelm the Flames at times.

The bad news? Its only October.....Lots of hockey to be played.

Yeah ,but last year they looked like *** for a good portion of the year. It could certainly go south,but given the makeup of this team I don't see that happening. They know what it takes and should be recharged.
 
I think the team is starting to get it together.
They can stay consistent all season.
