2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

Shades of MAF in his game.
That was one of the attributes on him last season is when he's confident he can go on a streak.

Good job to the PK for killing the 6 on 4. Was a little nervous seeing Sid in there.
 
I'm starting to get excited about the DeSmith-Jarry Tandem.

Contract year for Jake. He is going to be expensive.

As much as I miss Hagelin. The trade has already paid dividends. Pearson has a scoring touch and I hope it continues.

In other news.... Sprong didn't suck last night. All the tools are there for this kid except maybe the hockey IQ

I've been excited about this since mid season last year. If Murray had a two-way contract it would have happened earlier this season.

Sprong is looking like he wants to play now. Still a bit off defensively but is playing ever so gritty right now.
If this team was a little more aggressive on the forecheck they'd be winning a lot more goals.

The goalie situation is good. I'm unsure of Murray's future now

Gotta do everything in their power to keep Guentzel. This kid is the real deal, and he and Sid have an amazing connection going on.
 
I think the unsung hero of the past few games is Bryan Rust. He's hustling his *** off, and playing extremely well. He hasn't scored, but he's come oh so close, and is creating scoring chances.
