OT was very fun to watch. Back and forth.
Sullivan needs timely shift changes though. We gave LA way too many chances in OT.
I don't know what's up with Malkin.

Tomorrow is Malkin bobblehead night. Kind of explains why he has played like a bobblehead most of the season.
 
They disappeared after a strong 1st period.
It's like they just quit tonight
 
Well that sucked. Go up 2-0 then **** the bed for 4 unanswered goals. You just never know what you're going to get from this team each game. That seems to be the theme for Pittsburgh teams this year
 
This team has no chance to win a cup this year. They play well in spurts but overall they look slow and disinterested. Not sure what to do but this team will be lucky to make the playoffs. They won't be around long if they do anyway.

There's no defense and no transition as a result.
The team is good with cycling and at times when they generate a rush and are able to catch rebounds and maintain possession.
But spotty defense play, crappy outlet passes which results in zero transition which results in playing in our own zone constantly
 
i think it's time to make a blockbuster. Either look for the future or solidify this team now. If that means Kessell is moved or the like, so be it. Start getting players in here that are hungry. This team is vanilla.
 
I'm still a little pissed off that I paid money for last night's game. First period looked promising for the first 15 minutes and then they started coasting. 2nd period they screwed up a two goal lead... again. Having a 2 man advantage and not scoring sealed the fate.

The pens got pushed around while being lazy. Gibson was outstanding for the Ducks. Sprong had chances and got an assist to add insult.

Malkin actually looked decent and hopefully his goal was signs of things to come. Well at least we got bobbleheads.

I was going to say. Malkin looked into it until he got hit from behind.
Getzlaf and Crosby were at it all 3rd period, I was waiting for something to happen.


Pens were frustrated. I thought the 1st period was promising.
Seemed in the 2nd period they kept getting pinned in their own end and just gave up after that

LOL, People had them on ebay before I even got through the gate at the arena. I bought 2 extra for Christmas gifts.

That should be interesting. I have no idea what team will show up. I just hope it's one that scores like 8 goals..haha
 
From what I have seen the Pens really have a tough time against teams that are physical. They can't seem to find a way to counter it. Not holding out a lot of hope for a win tonight but you never know. Maybe they will wake up for the Caps game and start dishing out smart hits rather than constantly absorbing them
 
the Caps are going to spank the Pens tonight. They're home, on NBC and know the Pens are a wounded duck. Holtby will probably have a SO. I just don't have a good feeling about tonight.

Maybe Murray will stand on his head and salvage a point, at least.
 
This could be a slaughter tonight if the pens don't come up with some fight. Since the horrible trade last season this team hasn't been right. Murray hasn't been right since MAF left.
 
Good first period. Stop ******* passing a billion times on the power play. They should change the name to the passerplay for them..good grief. I would have never figured 0-0 after 1.

I like our puck movement so far. Came to play.
Lack of toughness is a little concerning. Teams like Washington all they have to do is bully.

Oleksiak got his *** handed to him.
Nbc is slobbing over Wilson's shlong though
