It is not too early to discuss. Things are starting to pick up.
Here is a prediction......

I wonder why there is nothing being done about the Debbie Wasserman Schultz\Pakistani IT debacle. No charges filed, no investigation started. Sessions radio silence. Because................that **** is going to happen during the heart of the midterms. Bam! Slam! Glotz!

In the meantime, the Reichwingers will work on Anti-Obamacare and Tax reform. Get at least one of them done.

Do a Google search for 2018 midterms. All over the board in terms of predictions.........and we know how the "experts" in the media are always right.

Some races to watch.

Any opinions at this point?

Democrat 2018 Efforts Hit Another Snag As Top Recruit Drops Out Of Targeted Race

Former Dem Rep. Harold Ford: The Democrat’s Better Deal Platform Is Already Forgotten By Voters

Former DNC Chair Ed Rendell: Democrats Have Not Found A Message Yet

For starters, the Democratic Party has no message, no leader, and no agenda. Yes, that “better deal” was pitched, but it’s vanished largely forgotten by voters and for good reason. It was a carbon copy of Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 campaign platform. Democrats need 24 seats to flip the House and they’re viewing GOP districts in which Hillary won as their road to victory. Yet, that’s the issue. The road to the majority goes through red districts, but they’re not receptive to Democratic politics.

One candidate in a targeted race, New York’s 27th congressional district, has decided to call it quits after donors felt that she couldn’t beat the incumbent Republican

A top Democratic recruit in an upstate New York district the party is hoping to flip in 2018 announced she is ending her campaign, citing unrealistic fundraising demands by the party for a race her donors don't think can be won.

The DNC Had Another Awful Fundraising Month

The Democratic National Committee's already dire financial standing worsened during the month of August, according to its filing to the FEC.

The DNC raised just $4.4 million last month, the second lowest August fundraising figure for the party in the past decade. The party had less cash on hand at the end of the month than it did at the beginning, as its spending outpaced its fundraising. And it gets worse. The DNC's debt substantially increased.

Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee raised $7.3 million in August. It has $45.9 million in cash on hand and no debts owed.

If they pass this healthcare mess, Repubs likely to get creamed in 2018 and will set-up eventual single-payer. If it fails but
they get sensible tax reform done, they will do OK.

From L to R: Hit, hit, hit (people of all ages need lovin' too), guy, hit, not enough evidence

The math 8 seats to defend for Republicans vs. 24 seats to defend for Democrats

The geography says Democrats are in some trouble as well. Democrats must defend seats in very red states: Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia. They are losing at least three seats here...

Then, Democrats have a slew of Senate seats up in traditional swing states, including Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin that went Red for Trump.

Can I get a thumbs up! You won't read that type of news on CNN.

McCain Saves Obamacare Again, Tanks Graham-Cassidy Obamacare Repeal Bill

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCain’s vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.

I was undecided on the bill until I heard McCain was against it. Then I knew it must be good!

McCain is such a loser. Arizona gets a huge fail on sending that tool back to DC forever.

Oh, they'll talk about it eventually. Like the day after the election, after they lose and as the HUGE excuse to why they lost.....

I've really come to hate that turncoat fraud. He's one of the poster children for term limits.

McCain is an obstructionist. He will never get over the fact that Trump was able to get what he felt he was entitled to....the Presidency. The same mindset that Hilary has. It is time to remove these career bureaucrats, draining the swamp.

From left to right, number 2 is out. Cuz I'm racist like that, or so I'm accused.

This bill, like all the others republican "efforts " is garbage.

McCain get paid by Clinton to obstruct. So did Ryan. They are both pleasing thier political overlord.

They had all of these years to come up with a bill to repeal "**** the middle class care" and they did absolutely jack ****. Just a bunch of bullshitters. I'm sure these ******** want full single pay to the government. They've had this plan from the get go. All of this repeal ****? Smokescreen. ********.

I hope one day my representatives will no longer be insurance salesmen.

Repeal the SOB, let the private sector take it back and keep the hell away from it. Pass laws only if it helps reduce regulations that foster less competition and raise prices to help push it along.

Also hope more people pay attention to the primaries. That's how we can more effectively drain the swamp and get rid of the lifers who have grown rich and powerful while our take home pay has dwindled to pay for this that and the other.

Pay very close attention to your local elections as well. Some of those folks are budding socialists/communists looking to get their political start. See Charlottesville City Council and Mayor as an example of how a group of radicals can quickly turn a city upside down. Actually it didn't happen overnight, every few years the Council became more and more tilted to the left.

The more senior a senator is, the more likely he has caved to special interest groups and money that doesn't represent his party.

Senator, it's time to retire. You do not have any power to broker a deal.

They are downright dangerous. Many if not most have obviously been heavily influenced (paid--given gifts, etc) by lobbyists. They have healthcare for life, pension plans, etc. etc. etc... so what's to stop them from catering to them? There is basically no retribution for those who cater to the special interests so they can effectively do pretty much whatever the hell they want to and their constituents can pretty much just stick it. Unless the incumbent is one of the very few honestly decent people in office I say we need to start cleaning out a majority of these lifers ASAP. One of the most memorable primary defeats happened just down the road when Dave Brat knocked out up Rino Eric Cantor so it can happen..
