The save that led to Rusts first goal was lucky but ******* awesome. Best save I have seen out of Murray in a while, but it paid dividends. Most excellent.

Bob Errey called it the scorpion lol.
But it was a good save. Fun sequence of events after that.

Was a good game. The team has some speed.

that save/goal sequence was the momentum changer. Could have been 4-1, but became 3-2 in seconds. I give Malkin and Murray grief, but they brought it last night.

Pens need to get Simon off the top line. He adds nothing. Might as well have Sid, Jake and 3 defensemen.

Agreed, I think Simon is the weak link on this team. I'd trade him.

I didn't see that coming last night. I had it stamped as a loss. Props to Rust,Murray and Geno for closing it out.

The team is more than capable when everyone works and plays smart.

Tonight is another one of those games. Pens haven't beat the Blackhawks since 2014. If this team is truly different they come out flying. The same old Pens would be flat.

Letang out week to week, Horny out longer term. Crosby and Malkin split up on the PP. Chucky moved to Sid's line. Sully is playing chess. Hopefully The 0-22 PP scores it's first in 10 fricken games.

Looking forward to tonight. I hope we beat the Hawks with a PP goal !

Pens play great to start with. Killing a 5-3.

Then the defense pinches in and they give up a 4 on 1 rush... easy goal. Then on another rush Murray gives up the short side glove. Now it's 2-0. Just horrible execution and soft goals.

We bought the NHL package. I see the same five commercials about 25 times each game.

That one about hockey being on espn is horrific. It would have been better had a 7th grade tv class made it. That chick for the "In The Crease" show is a HORRIBLE actor, and about as believable as Hillary testifying.

I hope they take that down soon.

This is the worst looking PP I've ever seen from a Pens team. They spend more time in their own end than they do on the offensive end. Just horrible.

0-26 and no PP goals in 11 games. I think this is the longest streak without a PP goal in Pens history.

PP is bad but in defense the injuries affect who is out there on the PP, seem no confidence. I do like how this group continues to fight and keeping the sticks on the ice for a harder entrance across blue line. You got to admit the Pens have had some good chances in the last five games but just could not get puck in net, but some good goalie play was the cause.

Neither Crosby or Letang practiced today and are not on the 2 game road trip. Yohe says that makes them doubtful for the Leaf's as far out as Saturday. With Sid's production the last few games, I was wondering if he wasn't already banged up. Usually when Sid is out Malkin steps up, He's something like 1.27 PPG. If there ever was a time for Galchenyuk to contribute it is NOW.

Rangers are flying. Pens are in the offensive zone. Puck comes to the side board. They don't pinch and have 2 D back.... both of them let a ranger behind them and he goes in for a breakaway goal. 1-0 Rangers. Horrible defense.

Man looks pretty uninspiring thus far. Gosh i didn't know they only had 8 total goals in the first period this season so far.
