Yeah, it's a constant around here. It's like let's blame and ridicule Tomlin that we drafted the likes of Jarvis Jones, Artie Burns, Bud Dupree. Then blatantly ignore the fact we also drafted Watt, Shazier, DeCastro and Heyward.
When the draft pick sucks, it's all on Tomlin. When the draft picks are great, he had nothing to do with it. Same old, same old.

Reality is the draft is Tombert. They both set the board. On which one influenced a bad pick more than the other. Like moving a player up or down on their board it is an unknown.
Unfortunately we will never know which one deserves the greater criticism.Or praise.
So for me to debate an unknown probably is a little silly.

Also don't forget. When a play is run and a guy whiffs on a block, trips and falls down or screws up an assignment resulting in a terrible play = bad play call and bad preparation, Tomlin is a moron. When everything goes according to plan and it results in a great play = the players kick ***!
That being said, I think Tomlin is a mediocre coach, nothing more, nothing less. His time will run out because eventually players get tired of hearing the same old pregame speeches year after year and ultimately tune it out. Then you make a change. My biggest gripe with Tomlin that actually affect the outcomes of games are his ****** challenge tendencies. Position coaches are 10 times more important than head coach in terms of player preparation and I'll never be convinced otherwise.

That's a poor association. It would be like saying Bellicheck fostered the atmosphere to create a 3 time murderer.
Adults are responsible for their own behavior. Tomlin is a mentor of young boys (charity) and men. You can only provide a path, it's up for that person to choose to walk it.
Hold up your end of the bargain ******* and you'll get your money. Act like an entitled untouchable prick, your contract is voided. Pretty simple and logical.

The Steelers are the only team that didn't take back the guarantees, and they are still able to go after that $21M in court, unless something was signed on the release.
Raiders had wording built into the contract to get rid of him if he falls apart. He fell apart (intentionally) to get released.
Pats aren't dumb, fitting in the wording of conduct detrimental to the Patriots' 'good name' (HA), but he signed it.
AB has zero recourse. The teams won't even settle out of court to give him something, because they have a freakin contract.
The best part of this is AB will eat up a good portion of his fortune to fight a losing battle. No chance he sees a dime from the NFL over this.
Start playing in your Dad's league AB. Arena could always use you, or the XFL.
CFL won't touch him.
Lost all of his sponsors, has no income, unless social media outlets are paying him, but that will dry up since he's not a star anymore.
