Adios Liz Cheney...

My head hurts....I can't cover the late shift any longer, I'm too damned old and need my sleep
 
Thing is , there's big government Republicans too, the Bush-Cheney wing of the party.
That's why I could never get the hate for W. Boosh, other than he won a close election, because his policies weren't that much different from the Dims. Internationalism, endless wars to support the military-industrial complex, corporatism, open borders.
I held my nose and voted for him both times because he was better than the alternative but I did not vote for Boosh in either primary.
For decades the GOP was preaching lower taxes and smaller government but never did anything about the smaller more accountable government part. However, that conditioned their voters to believe it and when they didn't deliver, that's how you get Trump and not Zeppo, the other Boosh brother.
 
Who cares about Liz Cheney? The way she is being held up as some kind of hero is just as stupid as how apparently nothing evil ever happened in the world before Donald Trump rode down the escalator.

Both Booshes never met a spending bill they didn't sign. For the most part they're all birds of the same feather and just carry on to get donations to either party and make us think they represent us. It's really the WWE when you look at it but they make us pay for the entertainment.
 
You're all welcome. She was a rino. I voted for Broushard, but he got clobbered. Hagemann is probably just a bit right of Liz, but she also might actually represent the views of her constituents, not do some "brave" crap that some here like.

Not that it matters much. This nation is already toast.

Former President Donald Trump celebrated Harriet Hageman’s victory over Rep. Liz Cheney in the Wyoming Republican congressional primary.
Cheney came nowhere near striking distance of beating Hageman, with the race being called within 30 minutes of the vote tally, per predictions. As of this writing, Hageman holds a commanding lead by 0ver 30 points with just 49 percent of the vote counted.
Needless to say, President Trump, who enthusiastically endorsed Hageman at the outset, cheered Cheney’s loss on his social media site, hoping it marks the beginning of the end to the “Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs,” meaning the January 6 committee.
“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive WIN in Wyoming,” he said. “This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs.” He continued:
Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!

Didn't he just recently admit that this bill will not reduce inflation much if at all? If that's the case, why sign up for it? He pretty much **** all over his constituents when he signed on. Wonder if they'll remember come election time.
 
There's a lot of talk Cheney is going to run for President. That should be spectacular.

I think they will. Word I got was that Schumer got him to vote for it by promising approval for a pipeline to be built by a big Manchin donor in WV but I think Joe got snookered because the Dims never approve domestic pipelines, only ones coming out of Russia.
