Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez interview

It's not because she's brown and has a vagina. It's because she's dumb and is a socialist. Seriously Elfie, please explain to me how a halfway intelligent person has an economics degree and doesn't understand how the unemployment rate works. Sorry, but that's high school econ, not even Econ 101.

Then why are you bringing her up idiot? You thought you would be cute and you got it jammed back in your face.

And you're the only open racist I know here *******. You are worthless to every discussion you attempt to delve into.

Why am I bringing her up? You can't possible be that dense....

Here let me spell it out for you: How do you feel about Omarosa NOW as opposed to when you guys in the early days of the Noron in Chief's "administration" trotted her out in discussions for your token black purposes?

Remember that? Yeah I do.....sure do.

Please......

Go Alexandria Ocommie Socialist. Cause that division and fracture.

it don't even matter, her target audience is young leftists!

Millennials don't vote

ha ha

Only 28% of young voters say they will definitely vote in midterms

A recently released poll from the Public Religion Research Institute and the Atlantic conducted in June showed only 28 percent of young adults ages 18 to 29 say they are “absolutely certain” they’ll vote in midterms, compared to 74 percent of seniors.

Republicans have a millennial problem. Luckily for them, millennials don’t consistently vote.

“They are volatile in term of their turnout.” “They are the likeliest voters to drop out of the electorate — them and Latino voters"

I don't know what your referring to. Unlike you guys and your brainwashers at Breitbart, Fox, etc. I am not obsessed with one progressive candidate from the Bronx. If you are saying she committed a gaffe of some sort, so what? Everybody does.

I watched some interviews with her that focused on policy and she is very bright, that's what I observed.

It's fascinating though from just a behavioral science perspective that you use criteria to judge person A that you guys NEVER use to judge person B,C,D, etc.

To put it in simple terms: you guys support what are truly babbling idiots with an R next to their name that are CLUELESS as to how they are going to handle their responsibilities as representatives of the people. Yet you NEVER question their abilities....truly fascinating how this tribalism that acts as the prime motivator with your ilk TRUMPS everything.

You got other things to worry about champ.

58% of women will vote Democrat and you’ve lost independents. I forget the numbers for independents, but you guys are in deep ****.

Congress has a 78% disapproval rate among the same voters for not reigning in the traitor in chief...it's going to be a blue tsunami kids. Brace yourselves.

Blue Ebb Tide In Florida: Dem Registration Edge Drops Ahead Of Midterms

Floridians go to the polls for their midterm primaries in two weeks, and the electorate looks surprisingly the same as it did two or four years ago.

Despite predictions of a “blue wave” in this purple state based on reaction to Donald Trump and the disaster response in Puerto Rico, Democrats didn’t make any gains in their share of the electorate. In fact, as Politico’s Marc Caputo reports, they lost ground:

Last week we wondered “where’s the blue wave?” when Democratic absentee ballot returns weren’t as proportionately high as they were at this time of the election in 2014, the last midterm. Today, we begin to wonder even more now that the state has released the final numbers of registered voters for the August 28 primaries.

The numbers show that, as a share of the electorate, Democratic Party registrations have fallen about 2 percentage points since the 2016 election (to roughly 37 percent). Registered Republicans have held steady at 35 percent.

I feel like she's a disgruntled ex employee who is trying to make money off of her book. How should I feel about her? Perhaps you can define my outrage for me since I must have missed it.

Where do I start? One, Cortez's NUMEROUS major gaffes have been widely reported, even in such alt right outlets as the Washington Post. You accuse me of tribalism while you are rushing to defend someone you clearly know nothing about. Is it because she's an admitted socialist or because she's brown and has a vagina that you're such a fan? Two, I, like many others here frequently point out flaws and gaffes by Trump and others on "our side". I don't like Trump as I have stated here numerous times but does that mean I want to elect someone who would spend 40% of GDP on new government programs? Hell no. Some of us are able to see pros and cons and look at things from differing viewpoints.
It's called critical thinking. Try it sometime.

She reminds me of a cross between Igor from Young Frankenstein, Tom Petty and Offred from Handmaids Tale. Pretty hideous, for sure.

Yep her too.....only you guys hated her last week but love her this week. Swing in the wind Liberals, swing in the wind! You folks on the left are like weather vanes with no idea where you're pointing next.

We of course know which direction you guys point to...it's so easy.

It can't be that she's dumb because I've heard her in long interviews; she's articulate, very, very bright, and knowledgable. Just her analysis on Adam Smith and his real position on markets told me all I needed to know about her education.

Adam Smith's view that a trade deficit of no import ignores what Smith actually said. What Smith actually said in "Wealth of Nations" [SUP]1[/SUP] was as follows:

"A trade which is forced by means of bounties and monopolies may be and commonly is disadvantageous to the country in whose favour it is meant to be established, as I shall endeavour to show hereafter. But that trade which, without force or constraint, is naturally and regularly carried on between any two places is always advantageous, though not always equally so, to both."

The former situation describes trade with China to a tee. But of course Ocasio-Sanchez, I would wager, never read "Wealth of Nations."

Why? Because she's brown? No, because she's too stupid to understand it.

Oh, and no coincidence, elfie, that your favorite idiot candidate went to ...

BROWN!!

Brown - the junior college of decent universities. Come here, when the good schools don't want you.

[SUP]1[/SUP] So, elfie, in keeping with your theory, "Shut the **** up unless you know what you're talking about ..." - have you read "Wealth of Nations"??

So much for the civil debate you were going to engage in after watching old video of William Buckley....how long did that last, about a week? What a putz......

She went to Boston U. at least get that right. And she's the stupid one according to you.................

Fair point.

Brown pretends to be a decent university.

Boston U? Yeah, not so much.

And my response was quite civil. The profanity referred to your view on those who comment, not mine.

So you of course dodged the question (see, I noticed). Have you read "Wealth of Nations"? Simple question, quite civil.

No I have not read it, honest answer.

AOC when talking about Smith and markets mentioned that book so I'm sure that she has.

She is not my favorite candidate and not that big a deal in my book, but she sure made the Republicans lose their collective ****. That tells me someone is scared.

If she was a complete non threat then you would want her to win so the R candidate could take her out easily.

Instead every effort is made to slander and belittle her.

Speaks volumes.....

You could run a squirrel as a democrat in that district and win. No republican has a chance in winning that district. And no one is afraid of her. Her ideology is losing at ballot boxes across the nation. Every candidate she backed lost. Besides, she won 16,000 votes out of roughly 30,000 cast in a district of 700,000 people against a candidate that didn't bother to show up. On top of all that, she goes on tv and says stupid, provably untrue things over and over. Nobody is afraid of her.

Actually, I believe she threatens to split the Democratic Party, breaking ranks with the establishment Dems. I think we are seeing more concern on the blue side of the aisle. I don't know where Elfie gets his info, but it bears little resemblance to the truth. Is it that kid in his mom's basement again?

Not really, she is an idiot and does the Dems more harm than good. We think it's hilarious. Like I said earlier, her district is 110% Democrat and no Republican would stand a chance there. It was the incumbent Democrat's fault for not campaigning and assuming he could walk into office again.

Then why the obsession in the right wing media?
Let's face it if not for their dog whistle most of you wouldn't even know she exists.

The right wing establishment freaked out over her...and why?

Because most Americans agree with her and Sander's domestic policy positions.

Even the Fox News twerps sense it:

So you would support her since that is EXACTLY what you voted into the white house?

If most of America agrees with her, why do candidates that say the same **** she does, and that she supports, keep losing?

Look, I get it. Everybody likes free ****. Except the people paying for the free ****.

older Democrats are scared of her, because she is causing division in the Dem ranks. The younger crowd is embracing her, while living at home off Mommy and Daddy.

No I have not read it, honest answer.

So it would be fair to point out that you opining about somebody else's comments about the book would lack any informational support, no? How in the world would you be able to state that an observation about the book is valid, or insightful, or flat-out stupid when you have not read the book?

AOC when talking about Smith and markets mentioned that book so I'm sure that she has.

Maxine Waters has been elected to Congress 14 times.

Is that because she is smart?

Instead every effort is made to slander and belittle her.

Speaks volumes.....

Look at the white knight ...

So let's see if I have this straight. White Republican female - stupid, idiot, moron, retard, no problem. Fire away.

Brown Democrat female - "Wow, listened to her and she is dumb." AHHH, SLANDER!!

That about it??
