The documents disprove recent statements by Justice Department officials in recent days that said informant William Campbell’s work would not shed light on the Uranium One deal.

You dont get how this works.... Political team A loses... Political team B Wins... Team A gets all butthurt and finds a reason to appoint a special prosecutor into something... calls for impeachments.. blah blah blah... Special investigator runs down every lead they can for years... somehow the salacious bits only seem to leak right before elections... nothing major comes of it... rinse, repeat...
Its how you keep the narrative alive... you have to to that or your voters quit caring and you only get the small kickbacks, not the big kickbacks you get when in power....

Here we are Thanksgiving and no one in the country cares anymore about Russia collusion.
Like many here have said, this will have nothing to do with that in the end. They will continue to leak juicy stories of "finding stuff" on different people in the administration to justify their budget and time effort and continue to try and erode voters' opinions of the Republican power up to and including the mid-term elections (and maybe beyond) with the hopes of flipping the House of Representatives (which is still a huge long shot).
The truth is the American public knows there is as much dirt on Obama, Clinton, Holder and Lynch are there is on Trump, Sessions and Tillerson so it doesn't matter who is looking for it, only that NOW they are looking and during Obama they did not. And when asked to now look into Obama/Clinton/Holder/Lynch the "independent investigation" is hiding behind legal mumbo-jumbo and half assed excuses.
No matter what Tibs and his liberal friends want to believe, the truth is that narrative will hold up to the American public, particularly middle American voters and independents that lean conservative.
The longer Mueller takes, the more it looks exactly like what Trump says it is: a witch hunt that won't take nothing there for an answer and will dig and dig and dig until it gets something. And all the while it ignores very feasible conflicts of interest and probable illegal activity by Obama/Clinton/Holder/Lynch.
It's just not a good look for anyone. And I have said that from the moment the investigation was launched.

If you had to pick one post that best describes the term 'wishful thinking' this would be it.
There are a few Alt Left Libs like you who care. Strike that...you don't care per se...you are merely rooting for anything to bring down the Donald because of your hate for the man. It is 100% personal to you and people out there like you that don't care if the story is true or not but simply that Mueller brings him down. You wouldn't care if it was a plane crash, a fake story that worked, a planted dossier that the DNC paid to have falsely written to destroy him. There is no objectivity. You are in the outlier, fringe, Alt sphere that thinks this way.
However, the vast majority of Real Americans that are sane do not care a year later, to Del's point. It's simply a non-story. It is a witch hunt, as we've all said all along. It is an attempt at a bloodless coup. What we have learned though, thanks to this witch hunt, is that the true enemies to America have been those you so staunchly have supported - the Clintons and the Obamas - exposed time and time again in the past year for their ties to Russia and their own corruption.
I'm particularly fond of the instances of digging that result in evidence against The Great and Infallible Obama and Teh Firest Woman President who never was, yet the investigators and prying media toss it aside as being irrelevant. So they dig more and the cycle continues.

The problem there is that the left has been 'wishful thinking' on Trump being impeached for an entire year, and the media keeps struggling to find that one sliver of a crime to pin on him so that it happens.
The investigation into the Trump campaign's collusion with Russia is revealing that the Clinton camp was in bed with the Russians long before the election. So tell me... would there have been this level of scrutiny into Hillary's Russian connections had she won the Presidency?
If you believe that she would have been under the same level of suspicion, than you're completely naive.
I think if the Russians did anything during the election, they played BOTH sides. That should be the real concern.

Like I have said numerous times this really breaks down to irrational anger from the left based on the fact that this is the second election in 16 years that they view as being "stolen" from them by the Electoral College. It really bugs them that the 10 largest cities can't rule over us rubes in flyover country.
