Pickens has had ample opportunity to show that he is “the man” here, and he’s failed to do so. Instead, he’s the #1 by default because he’s strictly much more talented than anyone in the room. You’re going to run your mouth all year, and then when the target is on your back, you (quite literally) drop the ball, it’s hard to be taken seriously. Yeah the defenders made plays, but they’re still a **** defense, and I expect him to rise above. Routine plays routinely, ol’ shades would say.
