Anybody fired yet?

Me too...

Tito's cost $45 for a handle out here. I'll be in spending that every weekend until the season is over.

I check in often too, both for the news and for the Tito's stories.................................

I would take that and be happy. Anything to take that guys responsibilities away. Unfortunately they will probably stay with him for the rest of this miserable season.
Set him up for failure just like he did and is doing to KP.

i wish someone would make this sign at next game...

What you can be absolutely certain of is that Mike Tomlin will do ANYTHING that gives him a shot at .500

Once that really starts to look jeopardized you can bet firings & demotions and duty relief will all start happening.

Turning over stones, if you will.

In a 17-game season there is no shot at .500

Mike Tomlin will do anything to have a winning season.
Wait. That doesn't sound right either.

8-8-1

Sound familiar ?

If anybody can, Coach Tomlin has.

The best indicator of how bad this was/is will be that once Canada is fired, he will never work in the NFL again and will likely slither back to the college game to be forgotten.

That is the level of quality we employ in this organization now. And it's Tomlin's fault. No one else.

Yep. When hiring coordinators, particularly guys with experience, ask yourself "will they get another NFL job?" Not only won't Canada get another NFL job, he will probably be limited to a lower-tier P5 job at best.

First lets get the wording correct. has anyone "retired" yet?

POST of the day.

By day I mean right now and subject to change should I deem a better along the way. :)

Tomlin really has one job and he isn’t getting it done: hire good coaches. He inherited a good coaching staff when he got here and as guys have left he’s done a **** job of replacing them. Doesn’t help to have Artjr’s passive aggressive meddling thrown in, but the mess that is the Steelers righ now sits squarely on his shoulders. And you can’t help but think if all this love he gets from the media would be like if he was white… they would be shredding him! not retaining munch, hiring a college journeyman as oc for a Tiffany franchise is just plain stupid. He should have promoted munch and hired one of Shanahan’s wiz kids… done!! Same on defense… he gets a retread that brings nothing to the table and guess what we got?!?! NOTHING! Big red flag went up after the draft when a reporter asked him about draft pick Demarvin LeaL. Said he knew nothing about him but he’d read the report on him was sure he was good 😳 what they interrupt his golf game?!?! Steeler fans could care less about color we care about wins and super fuknbowls!!! We ain’t getting wins and super Fuknbowls! and the fact is we ain’t going to get wins and super fuknbowls what is going to get done about it? that's the question

Are you talking about Tomlin or Austin? Tomlin said he watched tape after a post draft interview and Austin just said he didn't have any interactions with him as the Steelers send Karl Dunbar to the Texas A&M pro day. I don't think anyone just read a report about the guy.

Here's one thing i stumbled across. Surprisingly insightful on using motion. Kinda shows why the F Canada's offense sucks so bad.

See i had thought that you use motion to telegraph the coverage and to get more space to work with on the route. But it turns out that in the NFL you have do more. You have to use motion for a f*cking thing. In other other words, the momentum has to make the defenders choose something! - and then the Q can punish them. it's shockingly a good watch.

Look, name me one thing other than cheerleading and BS that Tomlin does well?
Trust me, you’ll struggle with it!

We can only hope that a desperate team like Carolina, or Vegas offers something great for Tomlin. Otherwise we are stuck with his ineptitude.

If Tomlin was lured or traded can you name a coach that would volunteer to work under him? It would be someone from college ranks or someone with nfl experience that can't find a job anywhere else. Just like we he has now. Scrap heap coaches.

The glitter has faded on Tomlin.
