All of you are free to vote your conscious. After all it's still America, for a little while more at least.

Just remember, if it weren't for Ross Perot, Clinton would be in Arkansas tapping the local bimbos and no one would even know the ***** that is his wife.

Gary Johnson Promises He Won’t Smoke Pot in the White House

Speaking to The Hill, Johnson, who ran a small legal pot empire before running for president and uses the drug recreationally, noted that the nation’s top office is far more important than his extra-curricular activity. “The notion of getting that call at midnight or two o’clock—people need to know there’s a firm voice on the other side,” he said.

Now we know where the Bernie votes will go

I'm not sure what most of that has to do with socialism, but "waste, fraud and abuse" is insultingly vague and always results in identifying things that sound good but amount to a fraction of a percent of our DAILY federal expenditure.

Unless he addresses defense spending, Medicare or Social Security, he's talking a bunch of ****. That should be obvious to anyone familiar with federal spending.

There again, we have different ideas of what socialism entails so those goals don't resonate with you like they resonate with me.

At the Department of Health and Human Services, if Congress were to reduce improper Medicare payments by 50 percent in five years, the department could save taxpayers $4.3 billion in just one year.

“Medicare is plagued with the highest reported amount of improper payments of any federal program,” the report states. “Because of its chronic vulnerability to fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement, the [Government Accountability Office] has for 20 years designated the Medicare program as ‘high risk.’”

Medicare runs over $600 Billion per year. A fraction of a percent.

You don't really know what straw man argument means, do you?

It's an argument based on the misrepresentation of an opponents argument.

When I compare $4.3 billion to $600 billion, I'm not defending waste, fraud and abuse. I'm putting it into perspective.

Swiss Do the Unthinkable: Deny Muslims Citizenship

In a move which no doubt has American immigration officials baffled, the Swiss are denying citizenship to Muslim after Muslim for failing to integrate into their society.

Well, will you look at that. The Swiss think their immigration laws should be used to benefit their own nation! The audacity of these people!

And here I have been told by all the legalize pot people that pot has no ill effects. So a guy who ran a legal pot empire admits it would cloud judgement. That guy is out of the club. No more profiles in "High Times."

Medicare is one program. How much other FWA do you think there is in all government agencies and programs? In any event we have to start somewhere and $4.3 billion is a lot of scratch coming out of peoples pockets and thus out of the economy. Its time that everybody realizes that there are a lot of pet programs that must go away if we are going to fix things.

Use of the plant has no ill effects. But just like any other intoxicant you don't want to use it on the job. It would be the same as another candidate saying "I like to drink the occasional cocktail but I am not going to drink a quart of scotch during the work day in the oval office."

We don't have a $19 Trillion debt because of FWA. $4.3 Billion is about $25 per tax payer, a year. If we are going to fix things, we need to get real.

I'm not buying that. If I reverse that, would you say the use of alcohol has no ill effects, as long as you aren't using it when you have to make decisions? We all know long term use of alcohol has dramatic effects. I have a hard time buying that long term use of any intoxicant will not effect the body or mind in some way.

I really do not get all worked up as to whether to legalize it or not. I object far more to the justification arguments, because they are a crock of ****. Just everyone admit the main reason for wanting pot legalized. People just want to get high without the possibility of getting in trouble for it.

Actually there are a ton of studies showing THC use is harmless.

I'm pretty sure no intelligent pro-pot person ever argued pot doesn't have any ill effects.
I believe it's always that it's less dangerous than alcohol and shouldn't be in the same classification ( class 1 ) as heroin.
And eating marijuana is better for you than smoking, as any non-air inhalent is bad for lungs.
As stated already, he's saying being president demands my full attention at all times so I'm not going to do anything, pot/alcohol/drugs/etc that would detract from that.
Mountain meet molehill.

Gary Johnson is a liberal when it comes to immigration. This disqualifies him from getting my vote, sorry.

Liber is the Latin root (liberum) of liberty, liberal and libertarian (and is contracted for libtard) which means "free, unrestricted".

No real libertarian can respect borders because they simply restrict freedom and liberty.

Happy Independence Day!!!

ANYTHING in excess is bad for you.
Water, food, pot, alcohol, drugs, medicine, prescription drugs, antibiotics, the list goes on for EVERYTHING.
I think Johnson is also acknowledging a no win situation with its use.
Barry O gets crucified in the media for smoking cigarettes.
Those are legal in all 50 states, too.

No one drinks Jaggermiester or smokes because they taste good/are good for health. Enough with the hypocrisy.

Oh yes, VOTE GARY - more open borders!

Illegal Immigrant Convicted of Breaking into Apartment, Raping Sleeping Six-Year-Old

A Montgomery, Pennsylvania, court has at last found an illegal immigrant guilty of breaking into a Hatfield Township apartment and raping a six-year-old girl while her parents slept in another room, documents reveal. A jury found Oscar Herrera guilty of six of the charges against him, including rape and burglary.

Police arrested the 29-year-old Herrera after he broke into the apartment last November by pushing through a living room window. Police alleged he then crept into the little girl’s room and raped her in her own bed.
