Art II comments; reading between the lines

Every team plays a little of everything, coverage wise... its how predictable tgey are in key situations that really matter...

A few seasons ago, when Haden first got here, we started playing more cover 1, and were really good.. but started drifting back to lots of cover 2 and 3 shortly afterwards... the past two seasons we are running more cover 1, but in key situations or long 3rd downs, we rush 3or 4 at most and drop everyone into zones. Its predictable just like how the Ravens will invaribly call a cover 0 blitz in the same situations.

We just expect those moments to be too big for the opposing QBs... and usually they arent

Yea I get what you are saying here. We have been pretty predictable on 3rd and long. And it appears to not be working out too well for us. At least it wasn't at one point.
