Ask Depressed Cope...

Howdy Cope, I know I have and I'm sure many here have missed yaz.

The new car sounds AWESOME and if I lived closer I'd ask for a ride in it. I just got in from snow plowing with my 1954 International Harvester Super C tractor and it's a pretty simple, easy to work on unit and am amazed as to the tecknowlegytecknowledgy difference from it's time to YOUR car's time. Pretty kewl beans you are riding in that TECH driven ride........

Everyone here seems to love or to not love so much our head coach Mr. TOMLIN. I know he has some strengths and some weaknesses. In your opinion could you list 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses and an explaination with each? THANKS in ADVANCE

Here is some anti cheatriot **** to help you out of your football depression

1.). Suh & Darnald are going to touch Marci multiple times........maybe punch her in her vagina,.......twice

2.). Signal change up so RAMs will have an edge in that regards

3.) In the biggest, most televised, multiple camera game, the officials will have to be very well rehearsed if they are manipulating
......and expecting the fans to not notice..........

4.). Did I mention that nearly every one of my RED HOT POKERS have been sold all ready, ye up. They are kinda like the "goblin .......sword" on Lord of the Rings............they glow red hot when ever near anything CHEATRIOTS , weather franchise organization or fans, they are ready to **** them with a RED HOT POKER

PS...........I have a whole Nother shipment coming in tomorrow........

Wow an IH tractor! That is sweet. They are indestructible!! My dad has a 69' IH Scout Aristocrat. Two tone, grey sparkle paint with a navy blue cap. Beautiful truck!

The things I like have been well documented, but I'll mark them here.

Likes:
1. Going for 2
2. Going for it on 4th and goal
3. Ability to throw in a trick play on 4th down, instead of giving it back to the other team
4. Understanding game situations late, and what is needed to come back to try to win.
5. Understands you have a much better chance of converting a surprise onside, over the conventional.

Things I don't like
1. Expecting the D to hold a lead late.
2. Sticking with the kicker a bit longer than he should have.
3. Unwillingness to give praise to players who are doing well
4. Not having someone in the box for replays
5. Self Scouting. It appears that this is nonexistent.

Now I like his leadership style, as a leader of men, he expects other men to come with him with concerns. Problem is, some men won't. They're still boys, raised without a father, that are looking for a father figure that just isn't there. He's a bit like Noll in that respect, where he will not coddle you, and expects you to do your job. This coaching style isn't working as well with the younger generation, and he's going to have to adjust in some way to keep this locker room together. Can he do it? Rooney thinks he can. Looks like he has another year to try and prove us wrong.

Funny DIC. A guy on another board I'd post with would say **** 'em with a sharp, prickly cactus, but your proposed method sounds more medieval & entertaining.

What if that guy is DIC?

But instead of posting over there, he's posting over here.
And when he's not posting over here, he's posting over there.

Haha, that other guy would get way too wound up where DIC seems pretty kicked-back.

If one of your Tomlin top 5 strengths is his understanding of late game situations, no wonder you're depressed.

15' Tesla Model S 70D

Here's a shot of the Color: https://www.greencarreports.com/new...0d-first-drive-of-new-electric-car-base-model

Fastest thing I've ever driven. It's like living in the future now. 0-60 under 4sec. and you can set the options yourself. I use the retro braking (powers the car slowing back to the battery) and it feels like gear braking when you downshift going into a turn in a manual. Also ticked the sports steering option. You can go back and forth, and my wife has the Chill acceleration set as well as the low retro braking.

Those are nice. Quiet. Full power from the get go. Mine wakes up the neighborhood when I start it up in the morning. I'm starting to see a lot more Tesla cars in my neighborhood. So they must be doing something right.

I'm only sports depressed, not life depressed, but thanks for checking. Daughter and wife are both sleeping peacefully!

Funny enough, Coolie and I were discussing this in another thread. I think the Senior Bowl thread.

Personally, the kid is a specimen. Size to speed ratio like I've never seen. I know he was playing interior line at Houston. Coolie thinks he would have played end in a larger school, and I agree. He has great technique, leverage, hands and speed. Probably not a DL in the NFL, more like a DE.

In our offense, I could see him dropping some weight and playing OLB. With his moves/ speed and hand tech, he could give tackles fits rushing the passer from an upright position. If he is truly undersized, this may be his landing spot, and I can see him doing really well there.

I concur at our ROLB spot..

Brady has zero sacks and just went up against 2 great pass rushes with the Chargers and KC. The only time he was touched, the refs threw a flag...
This is why the *Pats win!

I would have to agree to disagree on understanding game situations late. A coach that can do that is more than likely a good in game adjuster. I don't see Tomlin as that, not even a little bit.

Also started the year on a 7 day water fast, so if anyone wants to talk that, I'm all game.

WTH!?!?! I'd never make it....water only for 7 days!?!? You have to elaborate on that a little lol.

Love me some Fitz, come home!

Why the **** does anybody want a 36 y/o WR with a $11M price tag?

**** that, draft a WR #1 and have him cheap for 5 years

IT doesn't mean you win every game late. It means when most teams punt, down by 2 scores and under 10min, I'm glad to have a coach that knows the game and doesn't punt. That is end game. Understanding the amount of possessions and time you need to come back in a game. He does understand that.

Because he runs perfect routes, knows how to get open, and has some of the best hand positioning the game has ever seen. I'm not paying him more than $8M a season, but if he signs for it, I'm game. Better than a rookie trying to figure out the route tree, year one. Even JuJu needed some time to adjust, and he was one of the most NFL ready receivers we ever got out of college. Our 2nd rounder from last year is still learning how to run routes that aren't 7, 8, 9s....

I did a 3 day fast earlier last year to reset my immune system. It takes about 72hrs for cells to reset. That one was pretty easy. This 7 day was tough. I had headaches adn didn't feel right until day 6. I'd been drinking a lot, so I think I was dealing with some withdrawal. You're only hungry for the first day or 2. It comes in waves and is gone after 10min or so. Day 4 and 5 were tough, because I wanted to eat. I wasn't hungry, I just missed it, and you can really smell food when you fast.

I'm back up to eating between 6-8hrs each day (Intermittent Fasting) Usually 12-6p, weekends I relax a bit and have some whiskey (ZERO CARBS!). Had my first beer during the games since 1/1. It was delicious. I'm trying to keep my carbs down and burn fat, but one cheat day puts you out of keto and it takes about 3-4 days to get back in without fasting. Not necessarily trying to stay in keto always, just enjoying some benefits from it.

I'm back up to 170, and here is my spreadsheet I kept on my fast, if anyone is interested in this kind of stuff:

And yes it was a water fast. So I started the first 3 days on only water. Day 3 I started adding electrolyte powder to my water (you can get it from GNC, and it helps inhibit muscle atrophy). Day 4 I started drinking flavored seltzers and adding lemon, lime, and cucumber to my water for flavor. Didn't eat any solids. I also had an herbal tea in the evening (when I normally would have a beer/whiskey). I made sure my teas didn't have caffeine, I did't want any other effect other than flavor.

Does a 10-6 record, wild card, and another early playoff departure qualify as "proving doubters wrong" and secure his job?

God, I hope not.
