IT doesn't mean you win every game late. It means when most teams punt, down by 2 scores and under 10min, I'm glad to have a coach that knows the game and doesn't punt.
Like against the Chiefs??

I did a 3 day fast earlier last year to reset my immune system. It takes about 72hrs for cells to reset. That one was pretty easy. This 7 day was tough. I had headaches adn didn't feel right until day 6. I'd been drinking a lot, so I think I was dealing with some withdrawal. You're only hungry for the first day or 2. It comes in waves and is gone after 10min or so. Day 4 and 5 were tough, because I wanted to eat. I wasn't hungry, I just missed it, and you can really smell food when you fast.
I'm back up to eating between 6-8hrs each day (Intermittent Fasting) Usually 12-6p, weekends I relax a bit and have some whiskey (ZERO CARBS!). Had my first beer during the games since 1/1. It was delicious. I'm trying to keep my carbs down and burn fat, but one cheat day puts you out of keto and it takes about 3-4 days to get back in without fasting. Not necessarily trying to stay in keto always, just enjoying some benefits from it.
I'm back up to 170, and here is my spreadsheet I kept on my fast, if anyone is interested in this kind of stuff:

And yes it was a water fast. So I started the first 3 days on only water. Day 3 I started adding electrolyte powder to my water (you can get it from GNC, and it helps inhibit muscle atrophy). Day 4 I started drinking flavored seltzers and adding lemon, lime, and cucumber to my water for flavor. Didn't eat any solids. I also had an herbal tea in the evening (when I normally would have a beer/whiskey). I made sure my teas didn't have caffeine, I did't want any other effect other than flavor.

Uh, whiskey has a ton of carbs.

There are 0 cabs in whisky/bourbon. Not sure where you got your info from.
Does a 10-6 record, wild card, and another early playoff departure qualify as "proving doubters wrong" and secure his job?
God, I hope not.
Will they Extend Haden contract this offseason. or let him play out his final year.
What do you think of a guy like Adam Humphries in the free agent market for the Steelers? Catches everything thrown at him....only 25. Of course this is assuming AB is out. Not sure what type of $$$$$ he is worth, but there definitely will be some interest
Meanwhile,I love your new ride!

IT doesn't mean you win every game late. It means when most teams punt, down by 2 scores and under 10min, I'm glad to have a coach that knows the game and doesn't punt. That is end game. Understanding the amount of possessions and time you need to come back in a game. He does understand that.
So you feel that Tomlin understood the time he needed to come back at the end of the Raiders game? When the Steelers got the ball back with 21 seconds on the clock, after he allowed Oakland to run 36 seconds off of the clock on first-and-goal on a running play?
Are you ******* kidding me?
Cope I know you favor Tomlin, how many more disappointing seasons before you are a frontrunner for change?
I see it is different for everyone. SN has slowly evolved to the majority wanting the man out. For many of listed reasons.
When for you is enough is enough?
Are we 1 or 2 players away from returning to the Super Bowl? Assume no more coaching changes.
Well this year was his worst IMHO. He doesn't get any better next year, and he doesn't get a new contract. If the locker room cleans up and this team plays hard every game, I'll be all for him, if not, it will be time for a change.
And we missed a chip shot FG to tie. Gotta take the good with the bad, man...
First of all, a 40-yard field goal, especially on a poor playing surface, is not a "chip shot," and secondly, it took a miraculous hook-and-ladder play to set that up with 5 seconds remaining.
So you don't feel, then, that an extra minute of time on the clock (Tomlin allowed 30+ seconds to bleed away after the pass which set up that first-and-goal run as well) might have benefited the possession? Perhaps to get a few yards closer, or even score a touchdown, like on the lone drive Ben was allowed to execute in the second half?
Inside of 40 is a gimmie. It used to be for Sushi and Boz before last year. This past year, not so much...
Amazing that they can even get into scoring range. And it's happened more than once late in games. You know why? Because the Steelers practice it. I wonder who got them to practice those plays?
Hmmmmmmm...
if we lose Brown and Bell we are 4 players away.
I think they can do it with Conner/Samuels. I'm with you on the RB by committee and utilizing money in other areas.
AB will be a big loss though, there's no WR by committee, and none of the FA WRs can touch him. Neither can anyone coming out of the draft. He's a HOFer, and the Steelers would do well to mending this fence.
On D, they are close. One ILB, another OLB (unless Durpee plays to his speed and strength consistanty). They have to keep Haden and Hilton. One other CB would shore up the secondary. I know I like the Safeties more than you do, but with better corner play and LB play, they will be a strength.
And Kicker. I like our punter just fine, but Boz needs to find his mojo. Either that or get a new kicker.
