I'm a black man, and I would not walk down any MLK drive in any city of this nation by myself. I would fear theft, assault, and worse, just like any white person would. How sad is that legacy? What would Martin Luther King have to say about that? Would he march against police officers protecting themselves against thugs, or would he march against the culture of criminality?
