Read the article, look at the graphs. Ben for whatever reason has been very inconsistent. Maybe it's being away from the family, maybe it's the young guys not getting enough rest while visiting a different city. There are a million possibilities when we speculate, one thing we don't have to speculate about: he has played like crap on the road this season.

20 to 5 td/interceptions at home

9 to 8 on the road

Ben better get his s*** straight.....and quick or we are going to be taken to the woodshed come Sunday just on points off takeaways.

It's a very fair assessment. No need for the Saint Ben bunch to try and spin it, but I know some of you will.Have at it.

I think he lacks confidence in the young receivers, therefore himself.

So to build his and their confidence he throws into double coverage gifting picks?

Read the article( I know it's long), especially the second half. It's very fair and honest.

But that doesn't account for the distinction between home and road

I've already said a bunch of times on here Ben plays like garbage on the road and the team is almost guaranteed to struggle scoring points. I don't understand it.

I wish I could re title this to"Ben is the weak link at this point"

Not trying to knock Ben but something is not right with his game.

Too many overthrows and really bad throws at times.

I guess I will wait until Sunday and see how Ben does.

It's no secret that more often than not Ben is less effective on the road. Possibly crowd noise and distraction.

This game will need to feature quite a bit of no-huddle and little or no radio communication. The Steelers should be running illegally high levels of feedback through their radio signal all day. Pretty much they should run a signal through the radio such that if a P*ts tech guy WERE to listen in, he'd immediately go deaf and start bleeding from the ears.

That should be the tech depts. job #1 going into Gillette Stadium. How many P*ts guys can we deafen today? I expect it would only take a few before they may stop listening in to other teams radio signals.

IF we can score a couple of early TD's instead of FG's maybe we can quiet the crowd down.

Yeah especially those dropped TD's what an ***. Can't just shut the passing game off and turn it back on.
We score when we go no huddle up tempo throwing the ball every where, 2nd half of both Baltimore games, the beginning of the Miami game, the first KC game, the Dallas game. It's great seeing Bell do what he does, but the passing game needs to set up the running game. The weak link on this team are the WR's, aside from Brown, who is going to make a big play? Hell even Brown has dropped at least 4 passes, one for a td and one resulted in an INT, but that's Bens fault. Brown didn't even run the correct route on the winning pass at KC.
If Brown and Eli do what they're supposed to and catch those two passes. Crappy road Ben would've been the highest rated qb of the weekend, not Brady, Rodgers, or Ryan.

No ELFIERO. YOU are the weak link. Watch the damn games. A QB is more than a passer. Ben is calling or at least adjusting most of the plays at the LOS. Who do you think has put the line and Bell in good positions. Would you be happier if he threw for 320 and they lost.

To be sure, it is clear that Elfie is the weak link.

And Ben has had dog games where he has been the principal reason for the team's poor showing (Baltimore, Philly, KC). So Elfie is not wrong here.

But that is a rarity.

Remember the Baltimore game we lost, he wanted to go to the up tempo offense in the 3rd quarter, but Tomlin didn't want to because Baltimore offense wasn't doing well, as soon as we went to that, they couldn't stop it, and Coates dropped a td with 6 mins left that would've put us within 7. He hasn't played great on the road, but he hasn't been as ****** as most like to think.

Personally I think he's injured. Shoulder or possible the knee.

How did Ben play ****** last week? He executed the plays. He took them down the field. Let's take the interception for example. He clearly called a back shoulder sight adjustment to his left. The tackle should have cut the end. He wasn't on the same page and didn't. The ball got tipped and picked. How was that his fault. The run was there
He made the right calls at the line. How did he play bad?

If I had one pick to upgrade one position on this team right now, it would be the #2 receiver.
I would consider us the favorite if Wheaton or Bryant was 100% and able to play.

Calm down, what are you 12? No one can say anything about Ben or you attack them?

Who put the line and Bell in good position? Haley that's who. But Haley can't keep Ben from overthrowing receivers and tossing gifts into double coverage.

As far as hot and cold and gameplan etc. That's a cop out. Brady can lean on the run, come back in the second half with what looks like a completely different O formation wise and pass away like he"d been doing it all day.

I watch the games, and even some opponent games. You should READ THE ARTICLE before you spew your anger over someone being honestly critical.

And that makes sense. That would explain it partially except why does his bad play show so much on the road?

I used to travel quite a bit for a job I held. If I was sick, I felt sicker when I was staying at a hotel than I did when I was home (my house, my mattress, my food, my routine). Some might say that was psychological. I'd agree. However, we do know that the psychological can affect the physical, leading to decreased performance (no matter what job you're doing).

we definitly need a focused Ben to win at these instances, no matter if it's against the cheats, packers or falcons. You can see in his demeanor and speech that he's this team's leader and that he's fully commited to bring the title home. It's time for Ben to achieve excellence and he knows it

That's why I mentioned the family in my first post, but to deny that there is something wrong or that it is the receivers fault always is delusional at best.

Not talking about you but about some posters who will defend Ben to the point of irrationality.

LOL, you mean Brady who completed 47% of his passes for a 60 something qb rating, and you're bitching about Bens game

Who said it's aways the WR's fault? You're one of those posters who always blames the QB.
You honestly blame Ben for AB having the ball go right through his hands in the Miami game resulting in a pic? Have been to training camp, AB catches passes from half that distance from a jugs machine firing way faster than Ben can throw, but that's on Ben?
Or the two TD drops by our WRs in KC? If they just do their job and actually catch the ball, this road Ben you are bitching about would've been the highest rated qb of the weekend and a 72 completion %.
