Archer is a "rookie" who just hasn't panned out this year. Off season should help, hope he likes leaded wheaties as he needs the weight. If by chance he did give us on e BIG splash play, lots here would be forgiven. Imagine him running and at the just right moment, he ducks through T' sizzles grasp, then on to a TD. S-W-E-E-T it is !!!!!

Well if I was one of these clever internet guys I would send it too you but maybe someone else can. It would also be good to drop a dime on him as second offense wipes out that cherry deal he got and should get him a longer suspension from the league.

You'd think Archer could at least be a kick returner but he doesn't even do that very often and not very well when he does.

Our kick return unit stinks in general. If I am the special teams coach I say unless you catch the ball outside the end zone don't return it. Also, watching Archer he hasn't learned the first rule to NFL kick and punt returning. NORTH AND SOUTH. Unless you are AB and have joystick type moves your best option is to run North and suck the tacklers in and then make one move and a slight angle torwards a hole and run as fast as you can. I think it's natutal instinc to not run into a group of people trying to tackle you so if they can teach him to fight the urge to go sideways I think he can be a good return guy. Look at Wheaton that is what he does. Even when he turns he is still heading up field just at a slight angle.

As for his game last week I think he had a nice sideline grab where he kept moving down field and keeping his eyes on Ben until he got past the defense for a nice 15 yard gainer. I hope we can build off of that and get the ball in his hands on a few plays when he has a little open field.

We are the only team who didnt have a kickoff past the 40 this year. That tell you all you need to know about the blocking on KOs. Wasnt just Archer. Even Blount didnt look any better and he was great at it in NE.

Nelson and Porter have a history.
At the end of the Tomlin/ Nelson exchange Porter came strolling into the mix as Marvin Lewis was pushing Nelson away.

Why so much whining about not making a move when Blount got smoked? We couldn't bring Tate in when Blount walked because the Vikes snapped him up.....He's available now and we picked up the best available Running Back period.....He'll average 5 plus a carry and we will have an aerial assault to ground the Ravens.....
