My wife bought a 24 count package of free range eggs at BJ’s for $8.99. Costco went woke so we bailed and joined BJ’s.

Yeah, I eat 6-8 eggs a day, so that’s why I buy that box. I just couldn’t believe the price. A week ago, you couldn’t find eggs. Now, no one is buying them. They are in abundance everywhere you go. I guess people said forget it.
Fry's (Kroger's) has them at $3.49 a dozen and they mailed me a coupon for a free dozen.

Amish Mustard Pickled Eggs. These are great.
I have The Beetus so I have to watch my carbs. Breakfast for me is typically one scrambled egg, two pieces of bacon, and a piece of rye toast.

I should have clarified. I only eat the egg whites. No yolks. High in protein, low in carbs, cholesterol. Great filling breakfast.

Maybe a judge will force stores to charge more for eggs. I mean nobody elected these grocery people.
Guy who rents the business condo next door to me has hens, he normally charges $3/doz. They normally start laying in earnest about this time of year in the northeast. Asked what he planned on charging this year, he said price will remain $3/doz because feed price hasn't changed, so egg price will not change.
But I will tell you what does change, his tune.
He brought in his first harvest for sale this week and the price was $4/doz, even though feed prices haven't changed. That's a 33% price hike over what he promised. Even the little guys gouge when they can.

Went grocery shopping today. I normally get an 18 pack of eggs and it was almost $3 less than it was two weeks ago.
